Street food on washington

After an almost 3 year absence, I finally got back to SFoW and goodness, the only regret was it took me so long to return.
The menu is loaded with incredible dishes, from Pad Thai, Karaage Chicken & the phenomenal Korean Hotdog.
Full breakfast menu, with fantastic Coffee (sole ATOMIC) and sweet/savouries at counter. Takeaway or hang around, chat with Ben & Bridget whilst savouring delicious food and the funky atmosphere at this hidden gem.

The Owner is a very friendly guy and I had the gyro with the handmade chips it was amazing, If you are in Nelson this place is definitely a must visit.
It is a little bit outside of the city but you can park there for free.

Were SOOO flexible with mass catering deliveries (sometimes at ridiculous hours of the morning), for between 90 - 100 pax TV Crew staff EVERYDAY; for a duration of 5x weeks on and off! Excellent communicators, great professionalism, catered for 25+ different dietaries, great variety throughout the contract (including sweet and savoury options), able to pivot for emergency / last minute requests dictated around filming requirements. 15 out of 10 for hard work!

This hidden jem is a definite visit, just a short walk from Nelson city centre. A must try is the iced coffee, one of the best I've had.

Amazing place with some of if not the best food in town great prices as well and the service is top level as well

What a great morning! We got the vege breakfast and ice chocolates! We played some games (provided by the cafe) while we waited. The drinks came out pretty quickly, with the food coming out shortly after. It was all delicious, but the hash browns… oooo they were on point! Staff were super friendly, cosy environment and tasty food. Would definitely come again!

Cool wee place. Version burger with homemade onions rings were bang on. Will be my go to for lunch when I'm in Nelson from now on

Food is really nice, pulled pork with the loaded chips is great.somethings are pricey for the portion you get, dont like how they close at 3 on weekdays

Delicious 10/10 packed full of flavour. Korean hotdog was amazing. Pad Thai was fresh with nice spice. The fries were super tasty. Friendly customer service. Will 100% be back.

Great staff, generous portions and chill, relaxing atmosphere.
This is my new local, love the variety of dishes available too.
I had the battered Fancy Fish and Chips and the other two I had lunch with had Loaded Fries, everything cooked to perfection.
It's a must-have experience for good food in Nelson.

I ordered vegetarian pad Thai with tofu and I received chicken and prawns
I took a mouth full before I realised and took a photo of the order and lodged a complaint straight away with deliveroo
Took a week to get back to me but apparently I should have taken a photo of the ingredients or the meal on a plate?
I suppose this was less drama than a couple of months before when the driver ended up in my neighbours garden in a ditch which took an hour to help him out
So no thanks for the help and no refund for the wrong food
I would give this place a big fat miss

Awesome food! And amazing/friendly service. Have had lunch 2 times in 2 weeks. Looking forward the the special next week!

I get it delivered snd its genuinely great every time, hope thesw guys can get enough for their own delivery service the care is obviously there.

Nice little place tucked away. Spring rolls are really good. Can't believe it took me so long to stop by.

Great range of food, it was hard to choose what to order! Tried the bhaji burger which was yummy and very filling! Staff are friendly and welcoming - would definitely like to try other items on the menu!

I dont know why I waited so long to stop in here. Do yourself a favour and try the jerk chicken, hands down incredibly done. Everything else I saw come from the kitchen looked delicious. I'll be back.

Beautiful, artistically crafted food. Healthy, clean and so tasty. This place is a bit of a secret, being off the beaten track, definitely worth the detour home

Always amazing food, there's a different special every week which never disappoints. I would highly recommend this place.

Definitely street food, good variety of food. Coffee was drinkable but not great. Place was rather cold and the floor was filthy, yes it is worn lino but it was gritty and dirty.

The experimental food option is available for one week only, starting every Thursday. Make it easy on yourself, just ask for the weekly special, and prepare to be amazed.
