Highly reccomend Beachcomber best Restaurant in the far north, the addition of the Salad bar tops all other restaurants as you can pick from the Salad bar a selection of salads tailor to your liking instead of getting a plain lettuce salad the food is cooked to perfection the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable

Stopped in for a couple beers and something to eat on a cold wet evening. Staff were welcoming, food was excellent. All in all a nice spot.

Just eaten there and what an awesome meal it was. Service great and the steak was very very good. Thanks everyone.

Great service. Food was nice, pork belly was a little dry but other than that it was yum. The Salad bar has a lot to choose from, nice fresh vegetables.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice large dining area with ample seating. Popular with local residents. The salad bar was a nice treat with fresh vegetables and more unique choices. All made from locally grown produce. I recommend the fish of the day. Perfectly cooked and beautiful presentation. The crème brûlée and cheesecake was a nice finish to the meal. One of the part owners was on site and demonstrated his passion for the business. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

A great meal and service. Unfortunately the heater was not working although there was a lovely fire in the bar. Would thoroughly recommend delicous food!

We were in town, doing maintenance on our rental. And deserved a night out for dinner! Was the best decision we made. The food was to die for and the service was perfect? The salad bar was fresh and we loved the croutons. My eye fillet steak was cooked to perfection the sticky date sauce was a killer my taste buds exploded.my virgin Pina colada is my best new. My partners seafood cocktail was fresh and tasty and his Marlin! Amazing the best cheesecake base ever! Beachcombers hold onto your Chef! A+ thank you Beachcombers.

Three stars for having a fabulous salad bar. Zero for serving drunk men who spoilt our night completely. Young waitressing girls had no idea what to do when a customer pulled two young men up for wearing gumboots in the restaurant this sparked a barrage of bad language abuse and threatening to retilate. We were close to calling the police for serving drunk out of order youths. The young girl said it will be ok the waitress is friends with them. Not good enough and lowered the tone of the restaurant. Who was the duty manager to allow this to happen. Surely not any of the young girls waitressing.

My main of smoked chicken fettuccine was almost as good as my own recipe (I am a chef)

Best restaurant during this new year trip! Delicious food with generous portion and plus the self service salad bar. Amazing! Will definitely visit again!

After ordering and receiving first drink7.15, Sat for over an hour with no service. Helped myself to salad bar. 8.20 was told my order was not placed in kitchen. 8.45 get given my meal in takeaway boxes.time to leave I guess, wasted hour brand half. 20 minute walk home. Meal went in bin. Didn't even look at it.

Stopped here for dinner with my partner on the way home. Staff were super friendly and greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in. The food was delicious and we loved the desserts (cheesecake and sticky date pudding). We really enjoyed our meal here. Highly recommended.

I have never been there before, I came from the east coast of Kerikeri I came to my mokopunas 21st and a gorgeous dinner services was great the children was able to feel comfortable and jus enjoy the feeling the spirit about the place.

Dined out at beachcomber restaurant tonight had a great meal came fast and our server Paige was kind, professional and she knew the menu well as she awnsered all our questions in a great friendly manner.

We had to wait well over an hour and half for our meals. The fish smelt really fish and tasted disgusting. The chicken was over cooked and dry and the duck was cold. I will not enter these premises again. It use to be our go to place.we decided not to send our food back because we had waited so long to begin with.

Was here on my birthday, the restaurant itself is amazing with a complimentary salad bar with your purchase. The staff were friendly and very helpful as we got there just before closing.

The food was basic mainly cause I opted for vegetarian dishes but I'm sure the seafood and non-vegetarian options were good. Also the dishes came out a bit salty maybe cause its a mixture of bar food.

4 stars because towards clearing the table the waiting staff who attended us was a bit rude, she obviously didn't understand us when we politely turned away the dessert menu.she assertively asked "say yes or no" which kinda shocked us.

This was my first visit to Beachcomber Restaurant & we were not dissapointed. We were greeted with a warm & friendly smile by the lovely lady at reception. The staff were very friendly, the food arrived fast and was delicious. The food portions were good sizes. The self serving salad bar is great, as you can create your own starter of choice.

Enough space for parking.
A place for the whole family to enjoy!
