Stopped here after taking the ferry to Rawene. Asked for the pie - leek and mussels and it was delightful.

I have been going here over a number of years when I'm visiting Hokianga. Kai is always awesome. The staff are always friendly and warm.well done Boatshed whanau.highly recommend and looking forward to seeing you all on my next visit to Rawene.

Perfect place to run away to on a rainy winters day, food is amazing and full of flavour at a good price, staff are welcoming and friendly in a cool little historic village

Beautiful little spot at the end of the road. Great food! Baked goods made in house. I ordered the tacos and they were so good! Very impressed. Was hoping to try the poke bowl but they sold out. Go early if you want to have your pick:)

Had eggs Benedict, loved the pickle onion, eggs cooked perfectly and free range bacon awesome. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere Australia and NZ. Will go again for sure.

The Boat Shed Cafe in Rawene is a gem for this area. There is nothing like it in the nearby Omapere/Opononi area, so if you are passing through make sure you grab a bite to eat and coffee, both of which were great, not forgetting to mention the awe-inspiring view over the Hokianga harbour from the outside section of the cafe.

The service was a bit slow
We were waiting for the ferry so we decided to have a coffee here. Although we had nearly an hour to wait and said we were waiting on the ferry, we a
had to hurry our hot coffees down.

Lovely scenic location for breakfast to start your day. Eggs Bene lived up to expectations as did the full breakfast and washed down with great coffee

Fantastic spot with lovely view of the harbour, delicious food (had pork bao buns (blackboard special) for lunch on first visit which were absolutely the best - and a generous serving / and the Rawene breakfast on day two which included buttered mushrooms with shaved Parmesan that were to die for!) ; presentation is top marks too.

The coffee was superbly made

Staff are friendly with great service.

Could not fault this place - my only gripe is that I don’t live here so it can’t become my local - but maybe one day I’ll retire to this lovely little town!

The cutest little top quality place to eat! Came from Wellington and stopped here for dinner. Margaritas were delicious, huge and delicious meals, super friendly staff.
It was enjoyable sitting and watching the water come in. Such a lovely atmosphere and experience. 10/10

The atmosphere, service and food were absolutely amazing on this beautiful sumner day. The view is so special, but the food and service matches it in unbeatable quality.nothing was too much trouble. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful cafe over the water.

Had the leek and mussel pie, piece of salmon and cream cheese pizza, and the salmon poke bowl. All of them were delicious. Had to wait a bit for them, but probably that was because of the pie that came straight out of the oven. Ingredients were very fresh. The boatshed placement next to water is great. Just a shame that it was a rainy day.
Would come here again.
