The atmosphere was cool, the service very quick and food was sumptuous too. We were 3 couples.

I always come here when visiting mangawhai! The coffee is out of the world amazing as always, and the food is spectacular.wish there were more seats inside

This place is consistently great, we've been coming here for years and the coffee is always amazing. Easily the best coffee in town. We also eat here on occasion and our go-to would be the cheese scone. But the rise & shine so good and new seasons harvest (pictured) incredible. See you again soon

Apart from not seeing staff wash their hands after petting a dog the place was excellent. I am not saying they didn't.

The best brunch in Mangawhai. Great staff great produce great experience. Don't miss it!

Standard pub fare to a high quality. Staff were excellent. Efficient and set expectations well on a busy public holiday.

The service was pretty good and the staff were friendly, however food and drinks were very disappointing. The iced chocolate was just milk, ice cubes and powered chocolate, nothing special. As well as the iced coffee was just a gross cold shot of espresso. The food was two eggs benedict and was average and overpriced, we expected better. The food was definitely not "Wholesome'' or "Flavorsome". We will not be coming back.

We arrived as a group to no acknowledgement from the staff, to a door banging and a painting falling off the wall creating confusion and distress. Once we eventually got the waitresses attention at the entrance, we were shortly seated at a cramped small table that barely fit all of us. We then ordered and our drinks came immediately except for one (the drink from the fridge) until we had to ask a different waiter for it. Our food came in parts, with half our group finishing their wraps before the other two then got their fries. Around 15 minutes later, I was then told that those exact same fries (shoestring fries) had run out and I didn’t get any and was offered the kumera fries instead. We then saw the couple next to us receive the shoe string fries that were apparently all out. The kumera fries then took an approximate ten minutes to arrive, much after everyone had gotten their food and finished. The waitresses were slow, inattentive and cold except for the one male waiter. Would never come back, truly the worst cafe I’ve been to so far.

Have been a few times, Food generally was nice and coffees good. Sadly went last weekend, 45min wait for food, but the cook had time to play with a water pistol outside on seagulls.hmm They appeared to have plenty of front of house staff, yet the kitchen was not delivering and letting them down. Food was not as good as it has been in the past. Front of house staff nice and friendly.

Service was great, plenty of tables, buzzing atmosphere & nice location. Food did take about 30-40 minutes to come out but it was super busy so understandable and the server did offer us a slice free of charge while waiting. Would come back again:)

Brewed As is a wee diamond in our town. Fantastic attentive staff, delicious food and on Friday night served up one of the best cocktails I have had in a long time. Hard to come by a decent dining experience in this current climate but B-As is doing their best to prove me wrong. You guys rock.

Spot on service. Menu is varied with everything fresh and tasty. Prices are top end and fine for the quality but not the quantity. For the money we paid I expect to at least leave full and we didn't. $180 for 2 small plates, 2 large plates, 2 sides, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 soft drinks is fine and should have been enough but it wasn't. Shame, won't be going back for dinner. Next time will be coffee and cake only

I’ve been having breakfast and tea for a while now and this weekend we booked dinner. A+ excellent chef, the lamb and steak were perfect with nice sides and we’ll presented. Cost atmosphere and the cocktails were obviously made by a pro mixologist- the tequila spiced one … oophhh coming back for that.

We ate dinner here and it was so delicious! A great range of sharing plates, reasonably priced and well presented. Excellent service!

We attended Brewed for happy hour and dinner on Saturday night, it was by far the best experience we have had here in Mangawhai ever before.

The service was amazing by Rhian, we felt so looked after by her and the team. The food was exceptional and fast! Our favorite dishes were the pork belly, the sliders & the fish. The cocktails were absolutely amazing! We had 4 each and they were all so GOOD!

We have recommended Brewed and will continue too.
