Bunnings Warehouse Kerikeri

Bit of a strange layout. Not a huge stock. 5 stars for the general utility of the place, but especially for the excellent and friendly customer service. Stella staff. Probably great management.

Im enjoying the help im getting for my DIY ventures. I painted my parents 40 year old bedside tables. Stripped, sanded and painted with everything from Mitre 10.

Can't wait for the new store at Waipapa to open! No offense to the friendly staff but this store is past its use-by date lol.

It's been a while, but I thought I'd give Bunnings another visit after my last unpleasant experience, and what a difference! I've deleted my previous review, which wasn't complimentary at the time. Lovely pleasant women on the checkout directed me to Special Orders as I needed to get a generator on backorder
No one was at that counter, and after a minute or two, it was announced over the store intercom for someone to attend Special Orders. I was well served by a very helpful person, and I left feeling uplifted. They have a huge new wharehouse/store being built in Waipapa next to ITM. It must boost staff morale knowing that they will be moving into a bigger and better building. I look forward to its opening.

What a pleasure greeted by the cashier this morning with a cheery hello and directed to the special orders where we were greated by Haley. Thankyou to you all including Rory who set it all up. Wonderful service

A good selection of stock. Helpful professional staff. The sealant guns are good quality, if not a little pricey. The paint selection is varied considering that more space would be helpful. Some bargains in the plant section to be had on our last visit. Thank you.

It's a smaller Bunnings but well patronised. Unfortunately the toilet facilities were out of commission when we wanted to use them. We liked the garden section, though small had plenty of varieties

I’ve tried to be patient but I have to voice my frustration with this branch. Every time I have gone into the store the floor staff are far, far away, almost as if they are trying to hide from customers. I wanted to order an aluminium profile that they sell but I knew they had no stock at Kerikeri, was told at the front counter that I would need to go to the “Special Orders” desk if I wanted to order something in. Okay, went to Special Orders desk but nobody there, looked around and waited a bit but no one in sight. Went back to front counter and was told that the special orders person was cutting keys so I would have to wait. I needed to go to work so left the store. Later in the morning I tried phoning the store to place my order, phoned three seperate times during the morning only to be put on hold for ages with no one taking the call (I know you’re not that busy). Eventually, on the 4th attempt, someone took the call, I said I needed to order a product in, was told I would need to talk to the special orders person but she was in a meeting so call back in an hour! I said how about you get her to give me a call? They said okay, took my name and number and the product I am inquiring about. It’s been 2 days now, no return call. I’m going to drive to Whangarei Bunnings because they have it in stock (Mitre 10 don’t stock this product). Hands down, the worst customer service of any Bunnings Hardware store I have ever dealt with. It hasn’t changed in the 7 years I’ve lived here, I try to avoid dealing with them in favour of Mitre 10 (who are always helpful).

I've been in a number of times, and was not satisfied with the customer service at all, the staff were extremely unhelpful and you don't usually find what you need, plus their pricing is atrocious.

Needed an odd sized drill bit which I couldn’t find individually. So on the off chance I went to Bunnings and there it was. Great staff here. Professional and helpful

Parking here isnt great but we await the new store with anticipation. Service is great here tho.

Made a call to the store with a simple request to ask if they have cardboard packaging boxes before I make the 1 hour trip there to purchase. The women who answered said, I can see there are some on the shelf I'll just go see if there is enough. She put the phone down, then I heard her start having a conversation in the background. After 10 mins waiting and calling 'hello' into the phone I hung up to call back to no avail as she has obviously left the phone off the hook and they must only have the one phone. You have to wonder if the staff get drug tested at Kerikeri Bunnings?

Staff are friendly and helpful. Store is small but clean and organized. Shopping there is a pleasure

First visit - only ok! Get better service and much nicer surroundings and range at other similar types of stores, like Mitre 10

I have literally been to every Bunnings in NZ for work and Kerikeri is by far the worst in the country. Service is below average and good luck of you want to return something faulty …. It’s like applying for a mortgage.

Do better team, it isn’t that hard

Staff are friendly and helpful even if they're unsure and then they still try to help.
