Good solid menu usually a decent cabinet selection with prompt coffee I would call the food solid and a good place to go on the way north away from State Highway 1. But easy to access once finished.

Absolutely outstanding place in Waipu Bream Bay Whangarei. Awesome staff and you need to order their scrambled eggs!

Good selection of cabinet food very busy with fast service. Try yummy toasted sandwich with real ham and homemade bread.

A pleasant cafe with nice choices of food and drink, parking right outside, nice staff and a useful outdoor area where we were comfortable with our grandchild.

Friendly staff at the counter. Very upbeat and lovely vibe. So, so sorry but this was the worst big breakfast I ever had. Coffe was served barely warm as well. Extremely sorry to write this review but only reason why I am writing it is for someone to look into making some adjustments and put a bit more love into breakfast meals as your cabinet food looked amazing. Wish I grabbed something from the cabinet instead and some cold drink as this was very disappointing experience. Your big breakfast lacked tomatoes on the plate to help cut through the not very nice bacon (honestly that bacon tasted awful) and tomatoes chutney was like runny tomato soup. Far to much bread on the plate. Please don't be made for this review. And please look into making some adjustments to that meal. Wish you and your staff well.

Was soooo busy so food was abit slow coming out, food was pretty decent, good coffee, had French toast & my husband had baked beans (homemade) & eggs

Such an awesome spot! Goody Goody is always pumping, and it’s not surprise why. The owner is lovely and has done a fantastic job with the place. The staff are super friendly and I’ve always had great service to match. I’d highly recommend trying one of the menu options (can never go wrong with the Eggs Bene), but if you are in a hurry there are plenty of great cabinet options. Enjoy!

We've had food here a few times now. Everything we've had has had an unexpected flavour twist that just added the wow factor. Our regular stop now, when traveling. Lovely staff too.

We were here today. The servers were super friendly and the cous cous salads we had absolutely amazing. As a dessert we had two cappuccinos and a date scone which was really tasty and was accompanied by delicious butter. You can even buy organic eggs here! The toilet was spotless and a dream for a traveller in a campervan. All in all I can highly recommend to stop here! It's totally worth to leave the highway for this Café!

We arrived at 14: 35 to grab something and staff literally made faces and said they're closing as we walked in, so decided not to buy.
I worked in shops and I understand that it can be frustrating to have guests say 5 minutes before closing. I still never closed before time.but 25 minutes?

A nice little Cafe in waipu, they have great sourdough bread with the meals, nice and toasty. The bacon is very good and eggs well cooked. The hollandaise sauce was so so, but good value so overall very happy.

Friendly service and very healthy creamy mushrooms, tasty bacon with little fat, fresh greens and super bread. Sticky table needs a bit more attention perhaps. I will be back.

This is a great little cafe in Waipu and one where we like to stop for lunch when travelling. Very friendly staff - although as a 74 year old woman I would prefer not to be called a 'guy' as in 'Hi guys' Perhaps another form of greeting could be used. Very helpful with my request for a dairy free meal and they produce a very good seafood chowder. Also available was a delicious dairy free orange cake. Happy with all that and will pass that way again.
