Industry Vintage reviews
8Loved the antiques displayed in the store and managed to buy something suited for my collection. A very friendly experience and the owner even gave me some discount on the item I purchased. I highly recommend this store to any serious collectors. Thanks again:)
Found vinyl records and lots of specials. Great shop to look around lots of 60's stuff.
“Hey buddy if you want to hold a frisbee do it outside! ” The coldest greeting from a shop owner, my 8 year old son was just holding a frisbee and we were not welcome in this store, worker told him to go outside. We were very interested in buying things from here as it’s actually got great pieces and we were in a spending holiday mood. Paired with aggressive signs everywhere this is not a welcoming shop, probably why there was no one in there. Good luck with your business
Industry Vintage doesn’t not accept Ministry Of Health issued mask exemptions and is hostile when confronting members of the public regarding this issue.
After contacting the Human Rights Commission, it has come to my attention that their refusal to accept mask exemptions is, not only morally questionable, but is viewed as discrimination of a disabled person.
I would like to point out that physical ailments are not the only reasons for a person to be issued with a mask exemption, mental illnesses can render people unable to wear a mask which makes it all the more concerning g when Industry Vintage staff treat members if they public in an unfriendly way that could be interpreted as threatening and hostile.
The treatment I am referring to is
•Standing uncomfortably close when asking the person to leave (including moving their face closer)
•Staff member positioning themselves in such a way as the person who was asked to leave was, essentially, corned during said conversation.
Little Waipu gem full of treasure.all objects in fantastic vintage condition, fair pricing, masks worn by staff and customers etc.friendly guy behind the counter.such a pleasure.
They buy vintage items from the hospice shop next store and sell them at an increased price. Plus half of their items are overpriced as hell. Do not recommend
Ahhhhhhmazing experience. Awesome shop. So much treasure. Like walking into a well curated time machine. Enjoy:)
Found an awesome funky & unique vintage leather dress, great condition - if I’m up that way I always enjoy a browse here. Glad I did a few weeks ago. Friendly & great service too!
