Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack

Amazing food, super tasty, great menu but what makes this place outstanding is the service. Especially the manager Blair, his friendly face and awesome service is always outstanding. Really makes you feel apart of the family. 10/10 all the time every time.

The food fantastic we went back the next night and had the same meal again. The Maitre de (Host) was so welcoming, the staff so quick and efficient. Cannot wait go back in December.

A warm welcome on what was a busy night, attentive service, fabulous food in a good atmosphere. Would highly recommend it, but be warned the portions are not small!

My family and I love coming to Jimmy Jack's for lunch or dinner. It feels cosy and warm. The people there always smile and have a lot of patients. The food is always excellent, what ever we get.

Beautiful Ribs dinner. More than enough for 2 with their $49 platter - with chicken and a German sausage too plus chups and wedges.
We also ordered the onion rings and they were delicious. A+

Ordered the platter at $119.00 plus drinks, but we couldn't eat it all. So asked to takeaway the rest and was told that there is a $1 charge per takeaway carton. Having just spent at least $140 I was extremely disappointed by the management's decision to have this charge.

I, and my family love to dine here on special occassions, whether its b/days, anniversaries, treats for the school holidays etc. I especially love a large gathering where we can order the $119 deluxe platter which caters for all our different tastebuds. We have highly reccommended your restuarant to all our family & friends (except the odd one with allergies). Keep up the awsum work that you do! The staff are so personable, so, when we come in, we are greeted as though we are friends. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Absolutely loved the place. First time coming here & trying pork ribs for that matter - dam they were to die for! Definitely worth the money. Will definitely go back again

Absolutely fantastic. Staff are extremely friendly and the service is brilliant. A must for their ribs, fish and chips and the chowder.

Food was very nice. However, the service we received from staff was horrid, to say the least. At the door, we were firstly ignored, then rudely spoken to. Further on to finally being seated- our waitress had no enthusiasm, friendliness or knowledge of the menu upon us asking simple questions. She was blunt, rude and simply looked as though she did not want to be there.

My advice to this restaurant would be to teach your staff how to at least “look” like they enjoy their job and make guests feel welcomed, happy and respected.

Simply put: nice food, terrible staff.

Good steak. Cooked the way we asked. Menu says to expect rarer to not be as hot which was good. Wings were awesome. Service was great too. Returning tomorrow night?

Food was okay. Kids menu was cold & bland. We went on mothers day 2021 and it was overcrowded. Within the 20 minutes we were seated my partner had been bumped into 6 times from other guest. It was so hot in the restaurant. The aircon was not working (if there even is one installed) the only breeze we were getting was from the door that leads to the alley way until another guest had asked for it to be closed due to him having a cold. It was so hot that my 7 year old son had to stand outside to cool down because he started feeling dizzy. We left the restaurant as soon as our food was ready. Not the best experience!

The staff was great and the food was even better. I particularly enjoyed the crab dip and the ribs. I'd happily eat here again.

The only reason I am writing a review is to praise Jess. She amazed us with her service.in saying that, all other servers were amazing too.liked this place a lot.kids friendly.awesome food.must visit.

The service was excellent. There was a wait before we could be seated and I think he is the manager who came out to reassure us we won't be waiting long.
Food was amazing. Taste, portion and price. Highly recommended and will definitely visit them again when I'm down there.

Good food and good, friendly service. My friends and I shared the The Rib Shack Platter and we enjoyed it. Good variety on the platter. Was plenty for three of us girls.

Platters are the bomb. Side dishes complete the meal. Good variety of drinks. Busy place especially for dinner. Best to book.

Yummy as food, friendly service and they will ALWAYS find a way to seat you, even when they are full. Got turned away from 3 other places because we had a large group that hadn't booked - Jimmy Jack's didn't think that was a problem!
