Lone Star Whangarei

I've been waiting for over an hour and I'm still waiting the waiter said I will take 14 minutes I've been waiting and hour and 36 minutes the service is really bad

Was really nice.
The dude who served us was brilliant for a trainee the food was so good. The only thing was that there was alot of balloons popping haha but that was like a special event so no biggie thanks Lonestar:)

Despite the short wait to greeted upon our arrival, everything else was excellent. Our server Noah was very efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. Thanks Lone Star Whangarei!

Been to Lonestar a few times and I always enjoy it. The food is pretty good but not over priced. The atmosphere is usually busy and the staff are working hard to serve everyone. It's not perfect in anyway but it's not too bad and I'll probably be going back again sometime.

Thank you to our lovely Waitress Trinity! So attentive and an efficient waitress, perfect manner and well presented. Food was great quality, service was even better!

The waitress was lovely and did a lovely job 10 out of 10 foe her however one of the meals a fish burger costing around $24 came with a price of fish less than half the size of the bun and looking as appetizing as a fillet of fish from McDonald's came out I felt a little perturbed but to be told the had run out of fish and a dismissive attitude after paying mid $300s for feeding a family or 5 I felt disappointed. I have gone to Lone Star for most our family events but might find another go to, prices are too high for average food.

Chloe was attentive and delightful. 20/10 for her. Food was great but a small issue with wine was sorted out. More attention needed with drinks orders. Chardonnay is not the same as Sauv Blanc. Thank you for the refund on the mix up with the wine.

Corina was incredible, she made my little girl feel at home and made it special for her to eat out. The meal was lovely but Corina’s service was even lovelier. Thank you

The food was wonderful, especially the desserts. The customer service was great with our server Dallum doing a wonderful job.

Sorry I didn't like my main or dessert. The pork meal was dry and the ginger and orange sauce was weird and didn't make sense and the milky bar dessert was super overly sweet. I did enjoy the garlic bread and mussels and the waitress was lovely. Flies were an issue too. Anyways, I wont be back.

The best Lone Star is Aotearoa! The staff here are amazing, and Chelsea is a total MVP! Still in training and absolutely smashed it out of the park. Thanks team!

We come here often. The food and staff are fantastic. Friendly, helpful and genuine. Tina looked after us the last 2 visits and she is delightful!

Steak was cooked perfect shout out to the chef, and the service from our waitress Tina was 10/10

Sadly I would have to say that my experience with lone star was not good. We had a good waitress who took our order. I got chicken nibbles and my husband got a hamburger and chips.we both got a drink. My husband went to the bathroom and within 10mins of ordering my chicken nibbles they arrived at my table. I thought that was quick. As I ate them I thought that they were luke warm. I mentioned this to my husband who was still waiting on his meal. I think the chicken nibbles had just been reheated. Finally my husband burger and chips arrivd. His Paddy was like cardboard very dry. The lovely waitress realized we had our meals at different times and took my drink of the bill. I did not have the heart to tell her my chicken nibbles were luke warm. But getting home this night I suffered.so let's say I probably won't be going back.

The food was really amazing. Sadly the acoustic were bad and we couldn't hear each other at the table which is a shame as the staff were awesome.

Excellent food and poor service. I must say the ribs here are the best of any Lone Star I've tried so far. The reason I give 4 stars is the service. We waited for a long time and no one came to help us order. I had to find the waitress myself. I asked the waitress for a glass of water during the meal. Then that waitress walked past me 3 times without giving me water. I really don't understand why it's so hard to get a simple glass of water. Anyway, the food quality is perfect, and good food always makes me happy.

Amazing service by all staff, and the food is a blow out, delish the whole menu, would definately return and recommend. Happy New Year Lonestar

The ribs I had were tough and dry. Not only that the waitress drop a rib on me before she served my plate in front of me.
The service and the atmosphere was great it was only those 2 miner detail that failed.
There was no offer of a free drink or $5. Off my meal for the waitress dropping food on me either.
That was my first visit as well.
I am undecided if I want to go back.
