Wow.first time at this great little place. I orderd chicken pad Thai.
It was truly scrumptious.will be going back for sure.

Staff members were friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is less family friendly, unfortunately. Great place for a date, or get together; but if you have small children people will definitely look at you when your child make some noises. Food are great, and prices are reasonable.

If you have kids that want chicken in a bland innocuous sauce this is the place for you. For those in search of authentic Thai cuisine.keep walking!
I had duck in red curry sauce which could just about be recognised as Thai. We also ordered 2 stirfries, one prawn and one chicken. These were bathed in a flavourless gloop that was so westernised you wouldn't even know they had come from a Thai restaurant. Absolutely no balance of sour, hot, sweet and salty. I'd rather open a jar at home.

I have been to this AmazingThai Restaurant for many years, whether it's with my hubby, a friend, Birthday and Anniversary celebrations. The best service, friendly staff and of course the best Thai food in Whangarei.

Love eating here! Not usually loud so nice to have a lunch or dinner date with friends and family. The Pad Thai is the best I’ve tried anywhere. Very friendly service and quick with getting the food to the table. Would definitely go again despite having already eaten here 7+ times

Great service & impressive food. Good lighting. Not too dark & not too bright. Made for a great dining experience celebrating the parents wedding anniversary.

Fast, delicious food. Excellent quality - the meat used was so tender and delicious. Very affordable with super friendly people. Sadly we are from our of town, but looking forward to going back one day.

Good food. Friendly quick and attentive service. Beautiful flower design hand painted on each dessert plate with edible sauces; just an amazing touch.

Had a great outing with my family. 10 of us, including two children, were welcomed by the friendly staff. Amazing food! We are return customers and the quality of food and people are what makes us come back each time.

A nice place to eat. I had chicken pad Thai and it was very good. I was with 3 other people and all the dishes were a large quantity of food. You could easily share a meal.

Pretty cold food served to us. Had the entree and thought. Nah. Mains will be the same. Left. Waitress was also quite unfriendly.

Ordered a main meal very expensive it was barely one cup full of food not worth it this place is a rip off

Sea food was tough and inedible. It was tasteless. We did not complain at the time but would not recommend or return unless they could provide a meal of acceptable standard free of charge. Disappointed. James

So disappointed with the service we received in the KAMO restaurant. Felt extremely rushed even though there were only us and one other group in there. Starters were cold. Curries looked curdled. We paid the bill without checking but then realised while we were still standing there that we were charged for 6 Heineken that one of our group had paid for himself with cash. The woman agreed to refund the 4 she remembered but refused to ask the other staff member who we pointed out had taken payment for the other 2 bottles. She was so rude and dismissive we didn't bother arguing for the rest of the money. Will never go back or recommend to anyone. Rip offs.

Incorrect order. Drove from the heads after reading reviews to get Thai beef garlic and basil. Got given fried rice. Didn't have time to hang around. Disappointed

Location is at the centre of town. The smiling staff greet you as you enter. The food is impeccable. Great service and highly recommended

Always delicious- have been here many times and have never been disappointed. As we as beautiful food, we had great service all at a reasonable price.

Staff were friendly, and food came out very quickly. Can highly recommend the Chicken Satay skewers! The other entress were delicious as well (we got the mixed entree plate). We also had Pad Pug Satay (26) and Pad Kratiem Prik Thai (27A) the meals were delicious and generous portions. Really enjoyed our meals
