Quality Hotel Oceans Tutukaka

No microwave in kitchenette. Spacious rooms. Modern, airy and light. Pristine clean pool and pool.area.

I stayed here four years ago just before the pandemic, and I was a little apprehensive on this occasion. The reason being that the hotel was in need of a refresh.
I need not have worried. A substantial upgrade has been carried out to the hotel, and it is clearly evident in the bedrooms, the restaurant and indeed to the hotel in general.
It is in a fantastic location approx mid way between Auckland and the Cape.
I have really enjoyed my stay here.

A great hotel worth the trip out of town, and if you are heading to the Poor Knights, a great location. Great service.

Magnificent place. Great rooms, great view. Even if it was winter here. This place is outstanding. The meals were great. The servive was great.

Good location and well equipped, only draw back was it was a bit noisy but that could have been bad luck more then the venues fault.

The room was tidy and minimal, but more than suitable as a place to stay. The location is wonderful. Walk out the front door and you have the marina right there - what a view for breakfast! Shops and several places to grab a meal within walking distance. Very peaceful and picture perfect.

My father in law was staying in Tutukaka for work and it just happened to be his birthday. We wanted to organise a deli platter to be delivered to his hotel room as a surprise, I phoned the hotel and spoke with Maggie, she was super friendly and helped us to pull off the surprise. Fantastic service thank you!

Premium location & bright colors of the building the hotel shares with a few shops & vacation apartments immediately put a smile on one’s face. Our spacious room with a queen bed rearranged as two singles was overlooking the marina across the street. The dive shop is next door. A decent hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner; a couple more dining options are within walking distance.

Great staff who are very friendly and helpful. Tremendous location. Surprisingly good hotel in a slightly off the beaten track location.

Recently been refurbished so it is beautiful inside. Lovely staff.

Pity there isn't double the insulation so you can't hear the elephants upstairs & snoring through the walls

Great place to stay. Spacious apartment with everything you could need, walking distance to 3 cafes on the marina. Highly recommend!

Great view of the marina in a newly refurbished room. Clean and tidy. Loved the big Wahi restaurant breakfast.

Helpful, friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and a lovely fresh, light room. Good sized fridge and large bathroom with a bath.
We had a balcony which looked out to the marina which was lovely. Good shops around with a general shop nearby.

What an amazing place. Apologies we were having so much fun networking and catching up with everyone. We had our meeting and then catch up time with dinner.

Stayed several days and loved it. Nice quiet room overlooking marine. Restaurant bar in the building serves fresh tasty meals. Several vegetarian options as well. Relaxing. Friendly staff.

Nice and quiet hotel. Lovely view from our room to see boats coming in and going out. Staff were very nice and very helpful. We didn't get the balcony e asked for but we did get a small discount for not getting one. Otherwise very good stay there.

Love Tutukaka. Staff were fantastic. Hotel spotlessly clean. However, paint work in our room could do with a touchup and two seater faded and looking shabby needs replacing.
