Only got a coffee, but staff were friendly and coffee was good. Would happily visit again.

The burgers were soggy and lacked flavour. In fact they were disgusting and the chips were oily. Since new management has taken over the standard of food has become very poor.
Won’t be wasting my money there again.

Great place to eat, fresh food and seafood. Reasonable prices and great service with a smile. Clean rest rooms and child friendly

Under new management since Christmas 2022 last I heard. We enjoyed their food years ago and decided to try them once again - to which they did not disappoint! The fresh fish + homemade batter was tasty and light, the burger not too packed like other places. They were also super fast with our order, considering how busy it looked. It's great to have a takeout shop open on the weekend, and one with clean and light oil so the flavours come through. My Dad is sensitive to a lot of foods these days so it was great that he could enjoy food from here. - From a new regular customer

Really yummy food. Had a cheese, ham and pineapple toasted sandwich and it was filled to satisfactory.
No customer service or atmosphere, meaning no smile or greeting.

My husband and I stop here on our way back to Auckland. 1st time round was great! Greeted warmly, fish, chips and toasted sandwich was superb. Milk shakes are just that milk shakes not the thick shakes I find you end up getting else where. We remembered how great the food was that we had the 1st time so were definitely stopping on the 2nd time round. Once again we were greeted warmly, we ordered a toasted sandwich, scallops, crabstick, chips and a couple of milkshakes. Must admit they tasted so good that half way through the meal I thought I need to take a photo and do a review to acknowledge just how yummy their food is.
I can only say one more thing - can't wait for our next visit. Keep up the great work!

All the food is really good! Really Yummy Fish burgers. The Sea Dog! & Hamburger if you take the lettuce out.
Tastes terrible chewy & folded 2 or 3 times its like the outer picess of an ice berg lettuce. Other than that Good Burger.
Kids & I eat here often, Nice & Clean & friendly staff.
The kids also love to try there luck on the claw machine & ball machine while we wait

It's been our local fish & chip shop 25+ years, building itself needs a bit of tlc, but still get friendly service and lots of yummy options. Highly recommend their fish burger! Yum!

Wow a lot more GF range to choose from have really catered for the GF menu we are so lucky to have a lovely range of quality food to choose from. And the staff are excellent to cater for your needs.well done AAA+

I had crumbed fish (dory) and kumara fries. Good potion and absolutely delicious. So yummy I’d have to swallow a camera now to take a photo

Every time we go there we are never disappointed. The fish and chips are delicious. Just the way we like it. The owner and staff are really lovely, so the service is good. Thanks for a lovely meal last night. We will be back that's for sure.

Service was excellent as were the iced coffees. The deep Fry's were over done and the paua fritter was average.

The worst fish n chips ever.and the battered oysters were disgusting tiny brown things covered in the most greasy batter it needed 2nd bagging. 1 star isn't even good enough.
