Good food and service, a great place to stop everything Including 2 toilets. Stopped again today, still great, and still the best food in the area, we stop each time!

Love this place as a stopover headed home north. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is great when you consider its a roadhouse Cafe. I stop nearly every time

Toasted Sandwich had a hair in it. We notified the pleasant lady on the counter, she apologized and offered to either replace the item or a refund, we opted to get another Toasted Sandwich as we were hungry
A different older lady from out the back made & bought the replacement toasted sandwich out, then made a big deal about it saying it wasn't hers or anyone out the back, then glared at us which was quite rude considering, we pulled the hair out of melted cheese from inside the toasted sandwich.
She could take some customer service lessons from the pleasant lady that was on the counter.

Great place for lunch on the run. Awesome range and great service.

Unbelievably slow, unorganized staff.will NOT be returning, took over 45 minutes for 2 plates of food to be made, couldn't wait any longer so asked for refund and was given, which is why 1

Great service with the best hot chips ever.crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and not greasy at all. Also the best smoothies and a decent sized cup of coffee.we definitely recommend this cafe and we'll be back

Daughter went on Trucking road trip with Dad.ladies had great customer service, friendly AZ great price yummy food guaranteed to stop again with Son. NO 1 rule about road trips is always stop where the Truckers stop

Burnt mouth from boiling hot coffee and leathery top pie that was way 2 hot also and salty.

Great location but the coffee temp is actually dangerous use a thermometer.

Greasy food but it can be fine if done right.

I get that we are living in different times since covid 19, but come on. 45 minute wait for 2 breakfasts, slow and unorganized staff, gave up waiting and requested refund, which we received. This place has been our local for 7+ years, we raved about it to anyone.but no more

Everything you would hope for in place that has "roadhouse" in the name. Wide choice of basic but tasty food. Friendly staff. Clean place. Good value.

We always stop here either going to Auckland, the hospital or coming home. Told our Families and friends about the nice food friendly staff, clean tables, clean loo, good selection, easy parking, except during summer holidays, and THEY stop there too now. Love it there.

This is the best place for a breakfast, brunch and lunch break it's has the best breakfast meals and morning tea meals and lunch meals the owners are very pleasant so are the staff.

Brilliant and mouth watering. Meals are awesome for a quick top up on the road and the prices are more than agree-able.
Their wide range of choices (food wise) is outstanding and delicious!
Eat in or take away, however parking is limited as they are full on, 5am to close!
