9Ventured out this morning for a light amble through the bush that forms the end of the peninsular at Opito Bay. Some short sharp bursts of energy for a great little morning hike through dense Kiwi area. A couple of look out points, easy travesing the hills loved it!

Amazing lookout at the end of track, panoramic views over Te Puna inlet, hills near Waitangi, and mouth of KeriKeri inlet.
A quick 15-20 minute walk from Opito Bay, The lookout gives you amazing panoramic views. Would recommend good pair of shoes, track has got a lot of tree roots over it and rutted in parts. But well worth the effort to see that view.
A short 15 mins hike will take you take you to this observation deck which offers you a 180° panaromic view of the pleasant bay.
Easy walk. Great views. No toilets no bins so be ready. Only 20 mins for the boat ramp take the path between the two houses.

One of New Zealand's mother nature's outstanding places. Just a short bird filled bush walk to this gorgeous spot. There was an abundance of birds including a family of tui's, mum, dad and little ones being encouraged to fly.
I've been here for two sunrises - what a great place. You have a beautiful view on the bay of island. It's very quite, I just met one other person at this time. There a different short walks.
