Thai Chef's Restaurant Whangarei

Was a lovely eating experience with good friends. The staff were friendly and service was good.

Bloody tasty. Nice big old bank now restaurant. Best Thai in Whangarei I reckon. Normally not so busy but when I went it was.

Food was good but service let us down and was very poor. Dishes arrived without utensils and not at the same time even though their was just 2 of us. We waited a long time for our order to be taken even though the resturant was not busy. Meals very slow to arrive to the table the resturant was very cold. One of the Waitress didnt look presentable wearing jeans and top.

Very nice impromptu meal for 20 plus. Some chose the banquet, others off the menu. This was dealt with very well and all food came out at nicely timed intervals. All very tasty with generous portions. Definitely worth a visit.

Great last minute meal out with family. Excellent service, well priced and delicious food. Will definately return.

Really enjoyed the food. Chefs roti with peanut sauce. The satay skewers. The Cashew main and the Prawn and Basil were all delish.

Excellent and fast service. Friendly staff. Great tasty Food, arrived quite quickly and was really enjoyable. I highly recommend. Price reasonably cheap for the quality of food. Will definitely go back.

Terrible service. Will never go back here. Arrived and ordered. A group of 16-18 people arrived and ordered. Another group of 2 arrived. Everyone was served before us. No staff seemed to even notice we were not being served after over half an hour. Asked what the hold up was. Our order never made it to the kitchen.

Wonderful experience at Thai Chefs! Delectable spicy food, gr8 service for children with special menu, colouring in/ word find etc and very pleasant waitresses. Family atmosphere. Thank you very much!

Food only average. Sent one dish back, was replaced but no different.

Food variable, was great one week not great the next. If you order a gin and tonic, be aware a double shot gin and tonic will cost 22 dollars! Bit over the top, we thought.

Amazing food. Fantastic service. The sauces were so good I could just about drink them. Honestly, for the same price as a takeaway, just go and sit in the restaurant and enjoy being taken care of by wonderful staff.and you don't have to clean up.

Wonderful, delicious thai food! We were really impressed! The prawn pad khing was delicious. Very generous with the tiger prawns!
The noodle dish was delicious too!
The kitchen is open until 9pm Monday to Thursday and until 9.30pm Friday and Saturday. Closed Sunday!
Beautiful service! And pretty decor inside. Some parking outside.

Food is always consistently so delicious.dropping the karee puffs to only 3 in a bag was a hard pill to swallow though lol

Unintrusive excellent service on a busy Saturday night. Superb food, quality and quantity. Hotness to suit individual tastes. Great ambience. We'll be back.

Over priced for quality of food some portion sizes are ridiculously small for price eg tom yum soup

My husband and I went for lunch and we loved it. We shared dimsim for starters and then I took the noodles with pork and gravy. He took the pad Thai. Everything was tasty and healthy at the same time. Nice service lady.

The place is so cozy, ambience is really good, spacious, and the food is great. Staff are friendly too.must visit when you stop by Whangarei area
