Nice place to sit and eat. The staff is really friendly! Unfortunately the pizza was not as good as we would have hoped, but it was ok.

Good food & nice staff- except for the manager (or owner) who obviously doesn't know that her voice carries through the whole place. So listening to her scold the staff for every little thing, and make a highly inappropriate comment about customers having to sit on her face because we were given a table when we hadn't booked.infront of our kids.yeah- kinda killed the vibe. We wont be coming back.

Easy to find - across the road from BP. Limited off-street parking. Some road side parking nearby. Some very nice dining environments - and some not-so-pleasant. Limited bathroom facilities.

Extremely uneven dine-in food quality and service. Friday 22 Sept. Large group pre-booked for 6pm.
I arrived 10 minutes "early" and found the assigned dining zone
. Adjacent to the bar and the kitchen servery areas. Noisy and overcrowded. Half an hour to settle in, and then some orders taken. Seemed a rather haphazard event given the size of the party and that the group was squeezed in along two large extended table zones with no space between adjacent patrons sitting chair to chair in all directions.
It was nice that the children got nice warm chips within 15 minutes of ordering. Sadly their not-even-warm pizzas arrived an hour later.
When the bulk of the meals were ready, rather than serve them the dish name was announced and dinners struggled to hear because of the poor acoustics and generally noisy zone. Not convivial dining.
My pizza arrived about an hour into the foray - nicely on a 'tile' (not warmed) and not cold!
My first drink was the only drink order/round. (As with most diners there).
Some dessert menus were made available.
Premises and layout more typical of a beach side cafe. Some food presentation was excellent looking - may be a chef present, but overall food preparation and arrival rather lacklustre.and nothing hot!
Not a good value spend.

First time diner here. But wanted to try something new great atmosphere.
I purchased the ribs but the sauce was so over powering lol and maybe a salad should be complimentry.

Loved the service from lyka! On arrival felt welcomed, service excellent, food pretty good. We will be back again.

The best restaurant I've ever visited. I asked for the Seafood platter and I it is one of the best I've ever tried and the owners were very polite too.

Relaxing atmosphere, the food was all delicious. We considered coming back again but something else came up.

We tried Pizza, Pasta and a salad for our group and was extremely happy with everything.

Food was actually quite nice with the chicken dish which I chose not too heavy but lots of taste On a nice day a seat by the open windows overlooking the garden recommended or a seat outside even better

Amazing meals, great staff. Able to accommodate allergies and adjust the menu to suit without any fuss. We went 2 nights running)

Really nice food, both of us enjoyed our meals. Would definitely eat here again. Well priced to.

Over priced for small quantities, as well as the meat wasn't cooked right and fish was drowning in oil and salt, wouldn't recommend.

Came here yesterday to order takeaway for pasta and pizza. This is probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had and the customer service was awesome! Definitely could sense awesome vibes from this place. Will definitely be back soon!

Had dinner here with the family. Friendly staff & prompt service. Meals were well presented & delicious.

We have been to Black Olive many times and will continue to keep going. The food & service is great, they are friendly and accomodating to our two young children which makes all the difference to be able to go out to dinner!

Don't let the quirky lay-out put you off The food is excellent, service punctual and the quirky lay-out provides a cosier setting than an open-plan restaurant floor.

Great place, with a varied menu that catered well to our whole group. Staff were lovely too, especially Brenna. Recommend you give it a try, we will come back next time we are invthe area

Their pizzas are a cross between a pancake and a quiche. The taste was very bland. Service was even worse than the pizza. Would I come back in a hurry? No. Would I recommend them to my friends? Definitely not.
