The Waterfront Suites Paihia

Beautiful view of the water and Russell You can sit on your balcony and watch the sun rise. Short walk to town and the ferry to Russell.

What an awesome property! It was my first time in Paihia and I'm glad my husband & I chose to stay at the Waterfront. Love its structure that gives off 'Malibu, California' vibes. A great break from Queenstown's snowy mountains.

Excellent location - close to the wharf, shops and restaurants. Easy access to awesome fish & chips + homemade tartar sauce from Oceans 68 - less than a minute walk from the Waterfront. The hotel is also facing the ocean. A 3 minute drive (or a 25 minute walk) to Waitangi which is probably the best place to learn about NZ's history and culture. A 1-minute walk to the wharf where you can hop on the ferry to Russell, NZ's first capital.

Great hotel facilities - kitchen in the room, which was handy as we stayed here for 4 nights and were able to enjoy some 'home cooked' meals. We also enjoyed the heated lap pool that was right outside the room we were in! They have on-site parking as well.

Amazing team members - Grace who checked us in, recommended restaurants and activities to do. Rob who manages the property and covers the front desk, was also welcoming and fun to talk to. And Josie (and her team) who ensures the place is clean!

We had a good time staying here. The apartment is right in the center, in front of it is the sea.
The apartment is well cleaned. We rented the Apartment next to the pool. Every time someone passed through the frosted glass door with no curtain, I could see their shadow pass by. The bathroom has a warm floor, with a shower chair. It's suitable for the elderly or someone who likes to sit in the shower.

Loved this place. We had a two storey apartment which had a huge kitchen equipped with everything your kitchen at home would have. Supermarket around the corner. Brilliant sea views with two balconies and a short walk to Restaurants: Bars. Definitely would recommend this place.

Very nice apartment by the sea, perfectly equipped with a kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom with its bathroom equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. The apartment is therefore large and comfortable, and also absolutely quiet. The pool is a nice plus as well. In terms of catering, there are many restaurants nearby, whether for breakfast or dinner. The kitchen of course allows you to be independent. The residence is equipped with a large underground car park.

From the moment I had called to advise I’d be arriving late, to the moment of checkout staff were exceptional. Loved the service provided here, big smiles very welcoming. Took our 8 month old baby here and it went by as a breeze. Loved every moment. The room was great with all the amenities you would need travelling with a little one, location is superb would definitely recommend!

Top quality in all respects. Tariff reflects this but it's worth it. We had ground floor and upstairs units in our group. One relatively minor issue - ground floor units have no external view other than the internal courtyard and pool. A slight disappointment. Upstairs apartments have great sea views.

Stayed here over Auckland anniversary weekend. Not cheap but definitely worth paying the top dollar. Very comfortable, we got the 2 bedroom apartment. Was great for the kids, access to the pool, excellent views and the place had all the luxuries you could ask for. Will be back.

I've stayed for about a week now, for work and I won't ever stay anywhere else, if I can help it. It's cold and rainy at the moment but I walked into a heated apartment with lights on and the tv on a nice music channel. It's a fuss-free check-in, with an underground carpark, which is important for me (female) unloading my suitcases and work things when I arrive in the dark.

The apartment is lovely and the heated floors in the bathroom are a real surprise. SO nice. The bed is comfy. The rooms are immaculately clean and the staff are very nice, especially Abby.

The location is perfect. I've been going next door (upstairs) to the Swordfish Club for scrumptious dinners. It's not a flash space but the staff are the best and the food belongs in a top restaurant.

The Suites are right next door to the main cafe and shopping area and a stone's throw from the ferry building.

I travel for work a lot and it can get tedious but places like this make it a lot easier to cope with.

Cannot wait to stay here again and am about to book for the year ahead.

The other thing I like is that there are residents here too and that makes it kind of homey. I'm not a swimmer but there's a beautiful heated pool outside my window.

Awesome apartment, right in town, very helpful manager, one of the best apartments I've stayed in, very spacious.

Fantastic location, easy access to Paihia shops and restaurants. We had a few maintenance issues but definitely would stay again

Was a nice place to wake up in after attending a concert. Suite was out dated and didn’t suite the exterior also could have done with more utensils we had to buy many things.

Bit noisy by road in front 2 bedrooms, curtains could do with a wash as a bit moldy on parts, bedroom TV's out of action on our stay. In saying that, lovely outlook big lounge area with deck.great for the 6 of us. Abby was very helpful.

Syay away from the joint didnt even visit reason? Spent 4 hours trying yo book a room with no avail.dpoke to manager told him website wasnt working could he help me.he just send me to the linknthat didnt work and told me to hit a button that didnt exist for half thecprice try averill court or anchorage at lrast they supply a service

Loved our stay in the 2 bedroom apartment. Beautiful views across the courtyard and out to Paihia. Spacious apartment. It is around 15 years old, needs a little attention. But very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you

These are superb, quality units, magic location in a relaxed sea front location with shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Absolutely beautiful and luxurious. Helpful and professional staff coupled with this amazing suite is a match made in heaven.
