The meat wasn't that great would have been better going to paknsave it was like it was 3 days old wouldn't shop there again

Bought the 150 dollar meat pack. Took 6 weeks to get all our meat, the mince was fattier than even the cheapest supermarket mince, was missing 1 of the meat loaves and the marinated steak was pork not beef

Good shop nice meat they have very nice beef sausages worth a try can also get pre cooked ones as well again very nice on BBQ

Oh boy this shop has changed my views about buying from your local top butcher, quality cuts and best care of their products. Great service, know their products absolutely professional and the taste is pure health and 100% natural.

I asked if they could cut a ham in half for me knowing they have a saw to do things like this. A guy behind counter just said NO and walked away. RUDE? Attitude. MERRY CHRISTMAS. I not buy from them any more.

Love these guys, they have part pay/ zip, so you can get meat and actually feed your family, great packs to choose from, friendly staff. Their rissoles are def my fave, and I use their kebabs in home made sushi! Great place.

I ordered roasts of everything, pork, beef, lamb. The scotch fillet is beautiful, my family loved the pork strips and pork cutlets. Yet to try sausages but did get 4 different flavors, can't wait. The meat is amazing. Everything is delicious.

Yesterday was the first time I tried Gourmet Meats as new to Whangarei. Beef burgers where outstanding best I have had in well years, can’t wait to try mushroom caramelized onion beef sausages later. They had a superb selection of meats and sausages, very good looking family packs, very competitive pricing, friendly service. This will be my new go to for all my meat I think. Well worth a try if you are in Whangarei and a fruit and veg shop just up the road bonus. It is getting hard to find good butchers these days and supporting a good one in your local area is a must.
