Matakauri Lodge

Came for lunch to check out this place and we were blown away by the picturesque views, delicious food and amazing service. Magnus was so helpful and friendly. After lunch, we managed to check out the deluxe rooms and they look so cosy and perfect for a romantic getaway! Definitely will consider staying here in the future!

We had a fantastic time there several months ago. Fiona is the best. The food was sublime, the atmosphere, views and spa treatment phenomenal.

Wasn't planning to go to Queenstown but found this place last minute. Gorgeous views, super friendly staff and chef very accommodating! You can also book a helicopter flight directly with them at the reception. Will be back!

This is one of the most special lodges I’ve ever had the privilege of staying in. Both this and the sister property Kauri Cliffs were so beyond incredible, it’s hard to put into words. The staff was truly instrumental in making this a wonderful experience and the food was nothing short of perfect.

The rooms are amazing. Great view of the lake and mountains. Food is delicious and well presented. Staff are helpful and always on hand to answer any questions. Definitely stay here again
