Jingru was really accommodating and welcoming. We appreciate the drink vouchers and the upgrade. Also the breakfast buffet was perfect especially that Chef Ruth was the one running the breakfast buffet, food is very delicious and staff were always there available to help and top up the food and the bacon was perfectly cooked to my liking. It was a last minute decision, as we did one of the great walks. Also I wanna thank the Bartender from Nepal he was very friendly recommending places to go where to get the best food in town.
Everything was perfect, the hot tub, the view, and most of all the welcoming staff. Though the hotel really needs revamping as beds arent as comfortable (sinking in the middle), curtains and carpets you could visibly see the wear and tear.
Overall still the best decision ever.
The photo is the view from our room, doesnt disappoint at all.

Stayed in Mecure for 4 nights and had the best experience. Rooms have the best view of wakatipu lake, room service comes and clean the room everyday. Pool has the best valley view. Breakfast was 7/10 as there were very limited options to eat. This resort gets 10/10 for the view and location. Very close to Downtown. You can literally walk to the city. I will stay in this resort everytime I will visit Queenstown

A mixed bag hotel experience. It's about 15-20min walk up/down hill from the city centre. Which is good if you want to be away from the noise and crowds. But you almost need a car every time you want to go out. Consider your priorities.
Service was average if not poor, with a lot of foreign tourists taking time for enquiries and paying/checking bills reception staff seemed to be overwhelmed. Perhaps more front desk staff required? The rooms were nice and clean with a breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains - this makes 4 star for this place. Unfortunately it's a typical Accor hotel, dated, with desperate need of a fresh paint in and out and.a horrendous lift you can hear in all rooms no matter which floor from #1 to #4. The small mercy is they turn this lift off between 9.30pm and 7 am. Brrrr.

At first we were allocated room 301 which had a perfect view however the elevator next door was extremely noisey in the morning. The Manager Gurjant was kind enough to allocate room 312 next day and from there the stay was very comfortable. I wish if they allocated 312 from the beginning so we didn’t have to go through the inconvenience of moving between rooms.

Dusty dated rooms. Clean and regularly serviced but dusty as. My eldest has a dust mite allergy and has been taking antihistamines twice a day to sleep in the room. Even I'm waking with red eyes.
The restaurant is overpriced and the most average food in Queenstown. Better eating just up the road at Lokal or in town.
Views are spectacular and service is fab.
Gym below average max dumbbell weight 10kg, but can't complain exercising with the views of the lake.
Breakfast gets boring pretty quickly and is average at best - sloppy eggs, cheap sausages, fatty streak bacon and a fake coffee machine (flavoured syrup, not made with real coffee).
Sauna is fine.
Spa is nice, warm, but no option to set the temp to hot.

The staff members were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They were more than just polite; they engaged in enjoyable conversation.

Be warned. The walls are thin. I was kept awake late every night by noisy, inconsiderate guests upstairs - I could hear people running around, jumping up and down.banging and clanging noises through the floor. Doors slamming shut all night. The rooms are just okay. It's an older hotel, and its starting to show. Beds a bit firm. Pillows lousy. Bathrooms okay. Cleanliness was a bit poor in that trays of room service food were left sitting on the floor outside rooms for 24+ hours awaiting collection. Overall I would not recommend staying at this hotel based on my experience. Plenty of other options around Queenstown at this price point, places where you won't be kept awake all night by noise through the walls.

Parking was very difficult both on the street and within the hotel. This is a major when you have to trail around waiting for a park to appear like Xmas eve at Sylvia Park.
Staff are friendly and engaging.

Breakfast was not well setout with not much thought to how people need to crossover each other and back again. Toaster is not a conveyor type so slow. Some of the hot foods was not kept warm.

General decor is tired and in need of a freshen.
Distance to town is 25 to 30 minutes walking. A bit far for winter but ok for summer.

One lift was out of order and there were some issues with steps in dark places. There is a 1/2 step near the ski locker which needs better lighting to reduce the risk of injuries to all.

I cannot believe how wonderfully awesome this resort is. We'll be coming back for sure! Big shout out to Melissa and Gabi in the restaurant, they are so lovely!

Walls are thin, needs more buffet variety, need to stock up coffee and tea when room is serviced. Staff are friendly and cater to your needs. The people who work here make your stay worth it.

I arrived at Queenstown in the evening, and the hotel was spacious and luxurious.there have swimming pool that only guests can use and a jacuzzi with warm water. I used it at night! Also restaurant in the hotel so I use it midnight food is fine.haha I never seen hard texture fried chicken.like really hard texture.and the breakfast was just plain delicious, so it was good to use this hotel ️

The bed only had a couple of sheets, we asked for duvets. They said they had none.
The air con broke down, we had to move rooms.
Our dinner arrived almost 3 hours after we asked for it.
They wanted to charge $4.5 for room service, never heard of this before in any hotel I stayed.
This is by no means the fault of the lovely staff at the hotel, but the owners who are not looking after their staff or their clients. They are definitely understaffed due to Covid, with a blooming winter season in Queenstown they might be able to consider offering better pay conditions to retain the lovely staff they have and get some new ones.
A very underwhelming experience in a lovely hotel that could be amazing! The staff are so lovely. I only rate them okay because of them.

Lets start with positives. Amazing view from my room and awesome pool, spa and sauna. Breakfast is really good and they had vegetarian baked items as well. Really close to everything in Queenstown. Now to sad things. The room wasn’t that great as the toilet leaked/wont flush and we could hear Noises from water movement at night from other rooms. The clock in out room woke us at 4am without us even touching the thing. The reception tried to be nice by giving us a $50 voucher for drinks but we don’t really drink that much and we were promised a better stay after our first night however on day two Housekeeping changed our sheets and the new sheets had blood stain on it. Im not kidding people. Really bad stay at this place. Choose wisely before staying here

Room was clean and spacious. Nice views of lake. We asked for a cake for our anniversary, they told us 45 NZD for it. And we got 4 eclairs instead and it was in bill as dinner food item, not fair. I felt it's not in a menu or anything, they had just put an amount they thought.

When we entered room there was a huge black fly flying all over which was annoying. We asked to remove it but male receptionist on the day we arrived said it'll stay near light and they will remove next day. We managed to remove it ourselves.

The girl who served us dinner at below restaurant was so nice. We really appreciate her service.

I would ask anyone going here please check prices and maybe photos of what you want to order before ordering.

Disappointed. Booked through travel agent package deal and upgraded room which included breakfast. Checked into premium king lakeside suite and instantly smelt like curry when we walked in, staff where helpfull and changed our room. 3rd floor smelt very damp and musty. Lady at front desk wanted to argue that breakfast wasn't included however showed her our itinerary as it showed on there it was included. Then for the next two days the breakfast waiter questioned this as well saying he would need to check again. Decided to eat dinner at the restaurant and took forever to get our meals. When it did arrive fish was overcooked and dry advised the waiter and there reply was a few other customerssaid the same thing. Breakfast was just as disappointing as didn't want the hot food due to it looking very plastic. Dont order food there. Review is left as I wish I checked this before booking. Said 4 star id say most 2.5 star. Motel needs some love as run down and tired. Real shame and left super disappointed. However queenstown was magnificent.

Stayed here for the first time, only for 1 night but had such a wonderful experience. Staff were lovely and the views from the dining area were amazing! I definitely recommend a room with a lake view.

Great front desk.
Great views from my room
Restaurant well
Entree chicken wings sauce was burnt
Main. Steak ordered medium rare got just close to well done slightly pink.
My side salad “seasonal greens” about 5 leaves of green the rest grated onions & carrots
Wine service non existent I had 1 glass of wine 30 minutes after ordering.
I sat down at 5.30. Got my drink at 6 and main meal by 7.00 the restaurant had 4 other couples so not a very good experience. Didn’t even get asked about my meal through out the night. Didn’t get offered another drink.
So won’t be going back sorry. I have had a better experience a year ago but something has gone wrong with your restaurant service and kitchen. Sorry guys but let’s see this as a way to improve.
