Great friendly camp and the music on Saturday night a highlight
Well worth going there as the beach handy and close to Dunedin

We have stayed at the camp several times. Great location, nice and close to the beach. We've always found the toilets/showers to be clean and tidy. I would recommend this as a nice wee holiday spot for families. We will definitely be back.

Lovely little basic camping ground very close to the beach. Amenities are old but very clean. Very friendly place where you can kick back and relax 25 minutes from Dunedin

Nicely situated near the beach. Bathrooms are basic but nice enough. We found it a pleasant place to stay.

Not very expensive campsite, very friendly manager, good value for money, shower for $1 for 5 mins, clean kitchen and bathroom

However, the land was not invaded by rabbits which meant that there were droppings everywhere.not great for setting up the tent and we saw 2 mice on the kitchen counter.

Fabulous old school camping ground. Very under rated. Perfect location, great hosts and pet friendly.

Clean, friendly hosts, animal friendly, powered sites and a few cabins, has a dumpsite for your waste water and toilet. Not far to stroll onto the beach and she'll hunt or paddle

Good location but not a very nice camp. Rowdy & untidy, although bathrooms very clean. Well done to cleaner. Overpriced for what it is.

Very tidy camp nice lady Margaret gave us options pop or camp we choose camp for 1 night before heading home the next day.

Pleasant older camp but we'll maintained and clean. Very close to a lovely beach which looked safe for children. Nice quiet location.

Absolutely appalling facilities for a busy camp area this time of year. 3 toilets and showers in both make and female bathrooms and the campground had over 200 people staying. Very poorly managed.has a drunk couple close to us that everyone was complaining about as the music volume was excessive, but the manager refused to do anything, frankly she was scared!
With dirty toilets and showers we were happy to leave, and will not be returning. The Council needs to update this campground. Real disappointing for such a location.

A great wee campground, friendly staff. We loved our time staying here. The facilities are a little dated but they were clean, tidy and very functional.

Clean and tidy, laundary, shower all you need for a stop off and freshenup.probably worth a bit more time on beach etc but we were just passing thru and needed some wear to freshen.

Lovely sheltered camp within walking distance to the beach. Facilities are dated but clean. Unfortunately there were issues with 2 of the 3 showers on the morning of departure so wasted a couple of dollars and 3 trips back to the caravan for more money ($1per shower)

Really lovely, facilities could do with an upgrade but lovely and clean. River and beach right there.
