Wanaka Heights Motel

This is not a 5 star room. It's average, with limited amenities and a place to lay your head. Dated bathroom and kitchenette. Bed was very soft which caused me to roll to the center. That said, the hosts were accommodating and motel was in a quiet location near the town.

Jenny was great! Super helpful and really nice. The room was fantastic and very clean, which is a huge thing for me! Biscuit (my dog) was welcomed and loved all the space:) Thanks Jenny, we will be back!

Amazing view from the room the rooms are very warm and cozy there are good dishes in the room from the minuses I would note the old-style plumbing

We booked at Wānaka Heights for 2 weeks and ended up staying for nearly 4 as we were stranded there when NZ went into level lockdown. Jenny is absolutely lovely. So warm and helpful. The unit was perfectly suited for a family of 4. Even for 4 weeks! Good kitchen with everything we needed, comfy beds, lots of space, lovely garden out the back, easy walk to town and the lake. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to be stranded. Thank you, Jenny!

Room was comfortable and well stocked. We had a family room downstairs that was plenty big enough for two teenagers and two adults. Great view of the lake and mountains. Jenny was super friendly and helpful. She had a ton of great suggestions. We skied both treble cone and Cardrona and both were about 30 mins away. Highly recommend.

Listen to me please reviewees, this place is an absolute cracker. Very friendly staff. Sensational views of the lake. Very warm and cosy. And not least of all, took out the coveted Firehose Award for best shower pressure during our 3 week trip around the South Island.

We stayed here for a quick one night stop and we were so pleased with the comfort and hospitality. A fully stocked kitchen and great view made this stay extra comfortable!
