Only space we could stay in taranaki with a motorhome everywhere else is always full

But trucks are always engine braking around this area is the downside

Awesome spot to park the caravan - fenced/gated. Quiet spot and had water and waste disposal easily accessible.

Good place to pack up not to far from town centre. Fresh drinking water and dump station on site

Not one of the nicer looking parks, all gravel, but it has what all self contained travelers need and that is a good dump station, potable water and a secure place to stay for a few day's.

Very tidy and well laid out park. Conveniently located to access the beginning of the New Plymouth Coastal Cycleway.

Coming from the North, it was great to be able to use the dump and come home (Westown) with a clean van. Several vans there, so it is obviously a great asset.

Great location coming from the north - & easy access to the cycle/walkway. Attractive site with well thought out plantings. Many thnx to those who are the "custodians".

Everyone we've spoken to here have been helpful, friendly and have given us some great tips, for things to do and see. Verry tidy well organized site.

Very reasonable facilities for those members of the NZMCA, just visiting a friend up from the Sth. Island parked up there for 3 or 4 days.

Handy location and cheap as chips, just have to bring ear plugs for the early morning truck traffic next time.

It's a great park. But if you prefer quiet places, this has a lot of heavy traffic going till quite late & starting early morning. Even with ear plugs it was noisy and the ground shaking as trucks pass.

Only for nzmca members only to park in their self-contained vehicles, an awesome site with everything you need except power
Staff are awesome who come and check you are a member

A great place, easy access, quiet evening, quite big. Will be nicer when the plants grow up. Price is hard to beat, but NZMCA members only.

A good place to stay in New Plymouth only 15 minutes from the center of town
Handy to dump station and a caltex truck stop
