Very disappointed to be served expired pork dumplings, very pungent off smell and flavor. DO NOT RECOMMEND CHINA WOK!

Will not be going back the portions are getting smaller and smaller yet the prices keep going up I don't know how they are still in business.
If you are looking for a awesome fish n chips shop go to yummy takeaways in either hawera or stratford they are the best it's worth the travel.

So first of all I understand that you were very busy this evening. However when I rang and ordered you said 30 mins that was not a problem 40 mins later I came to collect. You then inform me that it will be another 15 min so I return to my car come back 15 min later and what's that you've put my food out the back because for some reason you thought I wasn't coming back why would I wait 40 mins and then leave empty handed. You have then told me another 10 mins. You must think I am stupid I am a chef of 20 years. You took my food and reheated it. The rice yeah it was OK the noodle ok but the honey chicken reheated was absolutely terrible I literally could not give it to the dog as it was hard as rocks like literal rocks. You also chose to charge me full price and try to give me a bottle of fizz to make up for it which I refused. A tip in the future instead of being so focused on making a quick buck how about focus on the quality of your food. If it's too busy stop taking orders. I will never return to your establishment and I definitely will not be recommending you to anyone.

We ordered fish and chips and we got value for money. The fish was delicious and good sized portions. Totally recommend this place

2 fish and 5 dollars chips. The bag was ripping on the way to the car. Opened it up when we got home.fish was so soggy and smelly. Didn't even eat it. Gave it straight to our family dog. Chips were ok but more like 3 dollars worth. Not going back

Amazing fish and chips. Don't really recommend their Chinese. Do recommend their Eltham burgar.its amazing!

Friendly staff, makes up for the less than excellence I had expected, nice to see a family oriented venture and very clean too, rice was a pinch stodgy but the combination chow mein was rather delightful.
