Kathakali Indian Street Food Restaurant

The overall experience wasn't good. The quality and the quantity of the food was below average. The chef decided to add cloves in one of the curries when informed that it was bland in the first place.

The only thing good about that place was the girl who served us. She apologized and kept on checking if everything else was fine.

Good service, great food and environment. Meals took a bit longer than hoped for as we were one of the tables first in. I do believe a better understanding of mild medium and hot dishes would be a good idea for the servers and chefs as our table of 8 did order medium and we all felt as if the dishes were mild. Drinks service could have been better. I do like the seating arrangement. Enjoyed overall.

Good food, great ambience, we enjoyed all of the food that we ordered. Had two different types of dosa, uttapam and curries.

Amazing food. We had the South Indian style Butter Chicken and Chicken Chettinad lunch special. You get rice and Kerala Paratha with the curry. Portion was a bit small but still great food.thanks

Excellent value for money. Service great. Great craft beer selection with prices not over the top. Will visit again and will recommend this place to others.

Great customer service. They were busy, we went without a reservation during a public holiday weekend. They fitted us in. Good was wholesome

The worst South Indian food, wonder how they have the star ratings. Disappointed the second time. The food is below average.

The price of the meals doesn't reflect in the taste offered for most dishes I feel. This was topped off by my last experience of waiting ridiculous amount of time before picking up my big order which was given plentiful time to be prepared. Didn't want to give it a bad rating. I absolutely loved the experience when I dined-in a couple of times during my team outings and the biryani was delicious and quite distinct, but there isn't any consistency in the service. If you can't repeat it, I take it to be fluke. Don't mind changing my review if proven otherwise in the long run!

Fish starter, mains of aubergine with cashews and Kerala paneer and spinach all bloody delicious. Great flavours. Enjoyed the Kallappam too. Very good service. Will definitely be back to try more of the South Indian menu choices when we are visiting NP again.

Loved the starters: chicken, prawn and beef! Excellent taste and the mutton biryani was splendid.

We enjoyed the masala dosa. The biryani has a pastry top which is something we've never had before.

I (kiwi) liked the food and drink was good, especially the Fish Fry and Chicken 65. My South Indian wife thought the food was average, probably a little different tasting to what she's used to.
Atmosphere was nice and staff were quite responsive. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive to the table

Ordered way too much by mistake. Upon requesting to cancel extra entry, they said it’s already on the way. They pack it for us and didn’t charge for it.
