Landmark Manor Motel

We spent two nights here.
Very clean, well located, the room is large and practical with a small fridge.

First time staying with new owners Were very very impressed Check in friendly; offered to assist carrying bags upstairs. Room very clean servicing was great and perfect for our long weekend needs.
The friendly personal approach from the owners was so nice Will certainly be back Thank you

Stayed here for a work trip. Nice friendly staff who actually treat you as a person not just another booking.

It was my fourth consecutive night in a different motor hotel as I traverse the North Island. Landmark Manor was by far the best. From the friendly greeting as I arrived without a reservation to the little details in the room that showed the owners had thought about the comfort of the guests. Centrally located, reasonably priced, comfortable stay.

What an amazing little motel. So clean and had everything you need and expect from a good kiwi motel. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful and good local knowledge. Would stay again

Excellent stay at a great price! We stayed in the studio room for three nights. It was very clean and tidy, and the kitchenette was great. Returned to our room after our first day in New Plymouth to find they had cleaned and refreshed the room. The owners were both extremely helpful and kind — they gave us a box of chocolates to celebrate Christmas when we checked in:)

Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again someday!

Nice motel which is is very walkable to things in downtown. Very close to the festival of lights which we came for. We stayed for 2 nights and they provided milk for our tea and coffee, comfortable big bed, great shower pressure, nice and neat. Staff were very kind and polite. Shampoo and body wash provided in the shower but would have liked some conditioner and lotion. Would stay again

Very convenient place to set up base and explore The Naki. We had 7 nights. Servicing / towel changes / tidy up was done with courtesy and promptness, staff were very friendly and the room ticked all the boxes - cleanliness was top and the spa pool was AWESOME. Only downside was PakNSave activity in the loading bay at 4am each morning which woke me up most mornings but not motel's fault.

I have just spent 11 nights staying at Landmark Manor. I enjoyed my stay here. Staff super friendly and very obliging. Happy to give your room a full clean or just change your towels. Whatever suits. Friendly staff who waved and smiled every time they saw me coming and going. They even gave.me a lemon to go with my gin when I had run out to save me.going to the supermarket. Nice room with lots of utensils to use to cook. Would definitely recommend.

Great shower, bed is on the soft side. Even though it's on the main road, very quiet inside the room. Very handy to walk everywhere

Great location to city center, bars, restaurants, Cafe 5min walk and paknsave, countdown across the road.
The downside is next to main road so if you want quiet nights not for you.

Cons:
Beds are sunken in
Damp smell throughout building
Black Mold on shower heads
Jug isn’t functional unless you hold the button down.

To summarise:
The bare minimum has been provided to house people, would only recommend this place for urgent accomodation.

Great place to stay! Rooms really tidy and really close to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again!

Very Disappointed after travelling from Otaki for the LAB concert we arrived to check in only to discover our booking which i had confirmed twice no longer existed. Two ladies stranded without accomodation on a booked out weekend had no where to go, however the proprietor did offer us a shared bedroom in their private house.which was not quite what we were looking for!? Thankfully his only saviour was the Assure Abode across the way who had a 1 night vacancy with two rooms available which of course we secured (!) at discounted rates as they felt sorry for us! Will not use this motel again. Only put 1 star because otherwise I couldn't leave this review.

The aircon buzzed very loudly even if we not not using it becaise of some weired false，very hard to find any staff to fix it after normal working hour，we can not sleep because of that，Finally we found someone to fix it around 24: 00 in the night ，not a pleasant journey for me
