43Windy day flight cancelled very helpfull gentelman at the desk help us sort out lady of 72 to go by bus to Auckland then flight to Christchurch
Great 2 hours free parking. Shame the Cafe isn't open in the evenings, or hot drinks aren't available.
Always great, here at my local. The new terminal is a massive leap forward from the previous 30 year old terminal. Wonderful artwork and architecture. Great device from the airline staff and cafe staff alike. Easy parking.
Very nice clean airy open space to view the planes coming in with a lovely coffee lounge to go with the building.
Beautiful 'new' airport, airy, light, with spectacular views of Mt Taranaki on a good day. Coffee was nice, eggs Benedict on hash was substantial & delicious
Very disappointed that no food or drink was available at 7pm on a Friday night. Smart and modern airport, bit
Still one of my fav airports after over 50 yrs. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff from hire cars to security to cafe&bar staff.
The new airport is a gorgeous design, well laid out and a pleasant place to be. The cafe is great as well!
19/02/23 arrived at 9am and departed 21/02/23 at 11: 50am. Looks like a new Airport, very modern, easy access in and out, the only thing is transportation from Airport to City and vice versa is very scarce.tried booking taxi which you needed to download an app and register, tried booking through AirNZ App Shuttle but not available.the only thing was Uber give'n'take if one was available, but very costly. 15mins drive to the City Centre, free wifi but cant connect to it
First time on a trip to New Plymouth for the day. Easy friendly assistance everywhere. Thanks Air nz
Only at New Plymouth Airports
(Airspresso cafe) could you not get a cold beer on a hot day!
"Sorry sir there's no one working that can service alcohol "
What a. JOKE!
Beautiful waste of money. The one bistro is understaffed and absurdly expensive. The only thing that works better here is the baggage claim. In a country of rain, the idiots removed the previous covered walkways to the terminal building from the parking lot.
Welcome Nanny?
Grandma arrived all the way from Finland
Nanny it’s so happy
Recently refurbished, and now the nicest regional airport in the country.
Only problems is it is a long walk outside uncovered to the planes to board. So expect to get wet if it's raining.
Every airport I've been to at least has vending machines, or a small convenience store to buy drinks and snacks. But they only have a cafe.
Could do with more seating around the cafe. Struggle to find somewhere to eat sometimes. Other than that good food and coffee. Friendly waitress:)
Wow it's certainly flashed up since I was last there. Very convenient the do it yrself check in and lovely to look at building and interior. Smartly dressed staff easy to identify if u need to ask a question. My only complaint is the price of food and drink. Very expensive but I could see was very good quality food. And they did have free drink fountain where you could fill your own water.
New Plymouth airport is small airport with all basic facilities. Usually the flights from New Plymouth to other parts of New Zealand get delayed due to bad weather conditions.
I find it is great pride to meet friends at our shiny new airport terminal. Cafe is so worth the waiting in and parking is relatively easy. Good spot for plane watching.
A small but very well laid out airport with a lovely ambience and plenty of natural light. The viewing area is very close to the tarmac and provides a wonderful view all the way out to sea. Handy location to town and lots of parking without the exorbitant fees at other airports. Pleasant helpful staff.
