I was surprised when I went to pay for my washing to be done. They don't use coins but eftpose systems. Very busy and constant flow of peeps. Ample machines for washing and drying. Even those bulky blankets. They even have a pets only machine.

What are the prices to use both a washing machine and laundry dryer (please include the price reflecting the size of the machines). Is there also one standard price to use dog and fat bed washing stuff? Thanks in advance team x

Its clean, well signed and super easy to use. Loving the pay wave! Makes it so much easier to pay and no token nonsense lol pricing is good too.

Eftpos on each machine (no tokens or key cards), a lot of machines, was my go-to place to dry my clothes until I bought my own dryer

Handy Laundromat to Motel we were staying at in the city. All modern and simple to use Electrolux washers and dryers. $4 for a 7.5kg warm wash and there are also 18 and 25kg machines for larger wash at $8 - $10 a load. 14 and 21kg dryers $7.30 and $8.80 per 30 mins. Good music while you wait as well.

Spooners Laundromat is one of the best in Taranaki. This new facility is super in a great location with plenty of parking and eftpos for every machine:) Elixir West Cafe is only a minute walk while you wait.

Great clean place to wash and dry your clothes. Located next to a couple of Op Shops and cafes so you can kill time walking around until your clothes are ready.

Really nice laundry mat. Used paywave to pay which is convenient. But be prepared because it gets busy.

Spooners seems like a great new laundromat. The prices are good, lots of machines so you dont have to que up and tons of room. They have 3 sizes of dryers going from your standard, to large and extra large. The location is quite central to town and makes getting there a breeze for us.
This will be our go to laundromat for the foreseeable future.

Driers
Need to use temperature button to cycle through hot 10 to hot 60 to medium. When you have the temp and time you want Then press start and the Eftpos clicks into life with the charge. Swipe your card and eventually drier will start. NOTE WELL if you then touch the temp button in mid cycle the process resets and you get charged again. (the drier pauses at times so DON'T touch the temp/time button if you still have minutes on the display.

2. No chairs just a table no play area for kids no reading material toys.

3. Instructions above the washing machines are too high up for easy reading.

4. Washing machines have rotation knob for choosing wash: cold hot warm heavy duty BUT also unlabelled buttons to press - some of which give additional options some not. The buttons toggle the options on/off if you press again.
