My Dad had a cataract operation with Dr Albie Covello last week and at 8: 54pm on Sunday night, when he could have been spending family time, Dr Albie gave him a call to ensure everything was going well. Not only has dad got on extremely well, this is incredible service. Thank you Dr Covello, much appreciated.

I recently visited the Taranki Eye Centre and was seen by Dr Ross Neville-Lamb when I had a problem with my eyes. He was very thorough and I would definitely recommend him.

I recently had cataracts removed from both of my eyes, 6 weeks apart. Dr Albie Covello performed both of these surgeries and I could not have asked for better treatment. He talked me through what was happening each step of the way. I am pleased to report success was achieved in both eyes, how marvellous to be able to see things clearly again.
Dr Covello and his team were very caring and professional at all times.

I had an ectropion with skin graft done on site. The surgeon, 'Albie Covello, made sure I was comfortable and kept me informed of what was happening. His skills have made a wonderful improvement to how my eye looks and therefore has given me more confidence. He also did my cataract and that has been a positive experience with great results.

I had two cataracts removed with two lens implants. Both operations were very successful. After wearing glasses for 20 years, I do not need them except for close reading.
The post operation follow up was exceptional, even including a follow up phone call from Albie on a Saturday,
Albie and The Team would definitely get my recommendation.

I recently required surgery on both eyes to eradicate cataracts. From a very good reference given to me, I chose to have Albie Covello, a new surgeon to Taranaki Eye Centre, NP, to do my surgery. The ops were two weeks apart and both were very successful and today I no longer require glasses. My sight is excellent, I am most grateful that I had the surgery and that I chose Albie Covello as my surgeon. Albie’s attention to every detail, before, during and after the operations has been remarkable. And his nurse is a wonderful person, that certainly knows what she is doing. In fact all of the team at Taranaki Eye Centre NP, that I have had contact with has been most obliging in every way.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Taranaki Eye Centre to anyone contemplating eye attention or surgery. For eye surgery, I would very strongly recommend Albie Covello, you will not be disappointed.

Totally recommend Taranaki Eye Centre and especially Dr Albie Covello. I have recently returned to New Plymouth and was pleased to find that New Plymouth has 3 highly trained and experienced Ophthalmologists at the Eye Centre. When I went for an appointment the clinic was extremely busy, but all staff were professional, caring and efficient.

I have recently had a consultation, about my eye problems, with Dr. Ross Neville-Lamb at the Taranaki Eye Centre.
I arrived on time for my appointment, and received a nice welcome greeting from the receptionist at the front desk.
I was attended to by Dr. Neville-Lamb, after a very short waiting period.
I found him to be very professional with his examination of my eyes, and he explained things concerning my problems, and made me feel comfortable throughout the examination.
Overall, my patient experience at Taranaki Eye Centre was excellent.
I would definitely recommend Taranaki Eye Centre to my friends, and family, if they have the need to get specialist advice for any eye problems.

Waited over an hour for my 6 years old to get his eyes checked. Was sent home after 2mins saying he's not willing to put the eye drops in.
I feel that the specialist wasn't patient with my child. They should understand that children get scared of these things and need to give them a bit of time.

I saw Albie Covello at the Taranaki Eye Center for cataract surgery. The surgery was painless with a fantastic improvement to my eyesight. I am extremely grateful to Albie for his skill and care.
