Worst doctor in town. I went to get my lumps checked and wanted to find out what is happening because it's hurting. She's googling things in front of me that makes me feel she doesn't know what is She's doing. It's a very good experience at all. Especially rushing a consultation because everything is only 15mins and if you have any other concern they will ask you to book another time. You just waste your money going here and not getting any help that you need.

Mike is about as useful a doctor as google seen as that’s where he appears to get most of his information during your consult.
I attended an appointment with Mike in 2020 for early pregnancy, specifically, hyperemesis. He tried to make me take a Covid test, despite my appointment being entirely pregnancy related, with no symptoms of Covid.
He reluctantly gave me 5 days supply of a medication for morning sickness, making it clear he did not want to. Did not even look into Vitamin B which is proven to help. He also did not prescribe me prenatal vitamins during my consult, apparently he forgot.

I made a formal complaint at the time but it doesn’t seem to have been taken seriously.

Now in 2022, I’ve also had the same issues as others. Declining health forced me back to Vivian Med, over $500 later, they still haven’t found the cause of my problem, haven’t referred me to a specialist, just more blood tests.

Shame on you. People work hard for their money and shouldn’t be throwing it into a pit like Vivian Medical Centre.

I have always had a great experience here. But this week I got forced to wait outside because I'm not vaccinated and I was wearing a mask. I was told to protect the mask wearing double vaccinated inside the building which doesn't make sense if the vaccine works.direct violation of the health and disability code and will be making a complaint to the human rights commission.

Asked for an in-person appointment originally, because I knew if i had a phone appointment I'd still need to come in regardless but wasn't allowed. So had a phone appointment, a very short appointment only to be told on the phone too come in anyway and I got charged full price, in total $108 for an appointment I could of done once such a money racket. Never to mind when i was making the appointment the receptionist was more worried about me not having my, as she kept referring to it as "your $80 dollar appointment"
All this place wants is your money it's awful your health comes second clearly.shocking

Very dussapointed in center went in for my pre booked appt for a pap smear not because sick, get asked if I had a mask, I politely declined, was then informed it is mandatory (legally is not in Taranaki) stated this and declined was seated in waiting room, 1 other had no mask, then approached by a staff member saying I had to wait in car untill appt and they would ring me, proceeded to call out my cell number in front of everyone in room. So much for private information! Very disappointing!

Wouldnt recommend this practice. They have alot of patients, so you usually cant get in for a while. The doctors are always running atleast 15mins behind. They send you for lots of tests but wouldnt know what to do if something turned out wrong theyd just say to keep an eye on it or maybe send you to a specialist but very rarely!
