16 Pricing at extremes. "Quality" items priced as antiques rather than Op Shop.
Bought a couple of things ok price.
Sadly they've started trying to fetch top dollar for things, I know it's for a good cause but as someone who has donated many things over the years, it annoys me that shops try to get as much as they can for what was generously donated. The Westown shop started doing this a couple of years ago so I stopped wasting my time going. I'll be taking my donations to the Sallies from now on who keep their prices reasonable.
Drop off staff incredibly rude. Arrived early and waited until their opening time to unload my car for them to sort/ accept donations. Staff were rude and abrupt at accepting items at 9am. Will donate to another charity next time.
Large well stocked shop with good parking.
Priced on the higher side for mostly average stuff.
Haven't brought anything from here in months. Seems to be picked over and prices are getting too high.
Volunteers however are great and I am happy to donate unused items.
I love it and an amazing staff with such hospitable hearts
Thank You
Gabrielle Thompson of Whanganui
Good clean items for sale, Sorted into practical area's for ease of locating.
Very helpful staff behind the counter.
It was nice to see the place tidy up and well organized. Lovely setups. Clothes half of price this day 17th June. Recommend this is the first shop I visit.
Tidy and we'll organized. Ever friendly staff, I rarely walk out of here without buying something.
Was not the best place to go to. Everything was extremely over priced. Looked at a very small bin they had there for $6 and realized it's the same one you can get from the warehouse for $8, some older chairs too that were very warn were $350, crazy stuff
Nothing exciting any more find something to buy once a month If I'm lucky People are nice and helpful main reason to go New Plymouth not good for op shopping anymore
Great bargains here! Lots of clothing, shoes etc all good prices unlike the Westown shop, my choice now as the premier 2nd hand shop in NP well done to staff and management
So reasonably priced, clean and tidy.
Items presented well. Very nicely presented all round.ps: Lovely customer service. With a smile.
I've lived in New Plymouth for nearly 3 years and finally got out to this shop for the first time a few weeks ago. I have to say this is a great 2nd hand shop.
Very reasonable pricing (unlike some other 2nd hand shops around town that overcharge), heaps of parking, clothing is organised into categories pretty well. Very popular busy shop. Will defs keep coming back
I love it, second hand items, good prices, the best way to collaborate with the environment
Tall old lady with short hair at front counter questioned the price on their hospice tag.to be told by the other teller.it has hospice on it so it's correct. Rather appalled by this.ruined my afternoon by this behavior. I will avoid this woman in future.
