Really good service with great staff. They were friendly and the organization was good. It is also really cool to go on little boats into the park.

Excellent service. Highly recommended. Only annoyance was that we waited at the wrong end of Awaroa to be picked up. Due to the weather conditions, they were picking up at the estuary end. Somehow we were meant to magically realise pick up location had changed.

This is the company to get you on the trail quickly. Their smaller boats allow access to more places and gets in closer to wildlife. We saw dolphins, seals, gannets diving, sting rays, and luckily a blue penguin! The company were able to immediately adjust our itinerary due to an injury so we could continue our four day stay in the park. All the walkers we spoke to used AquaTaxi as part of their trip. Highly recommended.

When you're unsure about which package to choose, I recommend going with the CLASSIC one. Our aqua taxi driver, Brad, was incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. He explained all the bays and shared fascinating stories about the creatures there. The boat ride was truly wonderful, and the highlight was being able to see dolphins and penguins playing in the sea up close. It was an unbelievable experience! I wholeheartedly recommend taking the aqua taxi if you've never tried it before. I only wish I had more time to explore the other packages as well.

Abel Tasman National Park is truly beautiful, just like in the movies. Exploring it via aqua taxi was a great choice, we could see the whole coastline.the boat itself is small, can fit like 12 people, so you can really enjoy the ocean. The skipper was very friendly, even recommended us a better walk than we originally booked.

We took the water taxi around the coast and then hiked a portion of the trail. The skippers were very knowledgeable and showed us many beautiful areas. They were helpful and ran everything efficiently and on time.

Excellent trip on this boat. Very informative and interesting. And we even got the chance to see seals and dolphins on the way.

We booked the beaches and bays package (boat to Bark Bay, hike to Anchorage and boat back from Anchorage). We found friendly and helpful staff at the office. Skippers were friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. Pickup was smooth and as scheduled. Estimated walking times provided were accurate.

Water taxi, which help you explore Abel Tasman National Park. They have a lot of options, and you can use their website to select the option and book online. Friendly crew. Recommended to book in advance, at least a day beforehand, to ensure you get a spot.

I found the water taxi uncomfortable in the speeds they went. The online booking was confusing and I purchased a route that I didn’t want. With clarification from the cashier on-site we changed our itinerary but we’re not able to get a refund for the less expensive trip we were taking.

Highly recommend the aqua taxi as a way to see part of the Abel Tasman National Park, without having to walk an out and back route. It added to our experience of the NP, by giving a different view of the Park (from the water) as well as being a fun taxi ride.

A wonderfully organised and competent company, who are prepared for changes of plans, kayak hitchhiking, sick and scared kids and more. They even found and retrieved my son's forgotten phone. Ngā mini nui!
