Amazing day trip that shows you the highlights of the Abel Tasman National Park! Rod was our skipper and he went above and beyond to ensure we were having an amazing experience. He was very enthusiast in sharing with us his vast knowledge of not only the national park but also of the country. He also prepared a very tasteful lunch for us accompanied by wine/beer. We also got the opportunity to relax on a beach, kayak, swim and hike a trail inside the national park. If you are in the area, this is a must do!

What a great experience we had the 2 Emma’s looking after us and they were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The scenery is spectacular and the chance to have a couple of short walks along with swimming in 2 bays was welcomed. Lovely lunch all good

Had a wonderful experience with Tim on our "Best Abel Tasman Day Trip". Great combination of boating, kayaking, walking, relaxing, and even feeding the fish. Saw several seals and enjoyed the bird life. The timing was perfect, not too long and not too short. Would highly recommend to a friend! We had 4 of us on our day trip. Lunch was delicious. Tim was delightful. Thanks for a wonderful day!

My partner, his dad and I went for a 6 hour trip yesterday and it was amazing! Tim was our skipper and he was friendly, super knowledgeable about the area and wildlife and professional. Booking the trip via Karena was so easy and great communication.
The trip goes to beautiful areas, the boat was very comfortable and well equipped, and catered to all wants of our group. The lunch was delicious and exceeded our expectations with some local cheeses and meats. My boyfriend and I are keen to explore and adventure, so we got to kayak, hike, swim and snorkel, while his dad got walk along the beach, relax and drink beers on the boat! All of us came away absolutely loving our day! Thank you!

Best experience of my holidays BY FAR. (Abel Tasman Day Trip was the name of my package, with all inclusive) Huge thanks to Rod and Angus, impressive high level service, they told us all the history (and legends) about Abel Tasman, small group. Great healthy, fresh and delicious Lunch, snacks, fruits, wine, beer, fizzy drinks and water were all included. EXTREMELY recommend to anyone to buy any package with them.it's a family business.

This day was, and will be, the absolute highlight of our 12 day top of the South Island trip, Emma, our skipper, was a delight, and a true professional, I couldn't praise her enough for making this day an exciting, fun filled, safe, trip. So thank you Abel Tasman Charters, we'll be back.

Our day cruise with Rod and Emma was a true highlight of our holiday. The perfect way to experience and explore the Abel Tasman in a day. There were 10 on the boat very comfortably, with room to spread out and take in the magnificent marine and coastal scenery.
From the beautiful birdsong at Motuareronui/Adele Island through to the final stop to walk around the headland and swim at the stunning Onetahuti Bay this was simply a brilliant day.
I very highly recommend Abel Tasman Charters.

Sadly I didn't get to go as had bereavement in family but Karina was the most helpful, positive and lovely person to deal with I hands on heart recommend dealing with these guys.professional friendly and genuinely interested. Bravo.

We could not recommend Abel Tasman Charters enough. Captain Tim and AJ were amazing and genuinely great people. The boat and equipment were extremely clean and in perfect condition. The experience was perfect and we will be back with friends.

Only five stars as there weren't six available. Better than it looks in the brochures if that's possible. Warm welcome from friendly knowledgeable staff whose enthusiasm and info about the area really enhances the cruise.
Delicious lunch - the smoked fish is awesome and a chance to walk, swim and kayak.
This is a huge highlight on my New Zealand trip. They use a small bay rather than a bigger port and the tour numbers are small and more intimate. Can't praise them enough. Claire our skipper was a star.
Book this if you are in the area it won't disappoint.

We spent a great day cruising with Rod along the shores of the Reserve, learning much of the bird life and outstanding conservation efforts being made in the area. First call was to the inlet where the young seals enjoyed our company while showing us how to really swim; one of our magical moments. Many thanks for the excellent and relaxed lunch. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were staying near Abel Tasman for the last couple days of our 2 week honeymoon. I was looking for ways to see a lot of the park in one day and decided to surprise her with a day out cruising with Rod and his son Angus. We could not have been happier, they had a wealth of knowledge about the area’s wildlife and places to go for kayaking, hiking and walking the beaches. One of the best days of our whole trip and would highly recommend.

Loved Stephens Bay. Safe swimming and rock pools to explore. Public toilet and parking. Lovely place to have a picnic as there are tables and BBQ's

Had a fantastic day on the water. Rod and Angus were very knowledgeable and informative. They could not have been nicer. We learned some history about the area, saw wildlife, swam, had a couple beautiful walks. All in all a great day.

Fantastic day trip! Kayaked, walked, ate greatfood & Rod is a great host. Nice to get some personal service.
