My car has a weird sound, so i came to this workshop early this week, explaining that when I press the accelerator, the sound comes out.
They asked me to come back later, when I came back, they explained it is the brake, worn out, needed to be replace, they charged me $445 (when I came, the car is already been dissembled, they left me no choice to decide whether I want it to be done or not)
But I got the car back, the sounds are still there, when I called the owner Tony, he said we are talking about 2 different sounds? How can he didn’t know? I explained very well at the beginning that when I press accelerator, the sound comes out, not when I press the brake. Then, he told me my brake needed to be fixed as well, and he told me the sounds I describe is from the transmission mount error, and I need to come back and get it done with another $300 fee, and this time, he will give me $20 discount (so $280 more)
2 days later, I came to another mechanic as I don’t trust Tony. This mechanic checked, and he told me I have been ripped off, as to fix the brake worn out, he would only charge $90. Also, he told me the sounds I describe definitely not the brake’s sound.
My brake is worn out as well, I admit, but it was not the reason I came to Advanced Automotive Richmond for a check.
It is completely a rip off. Very disappointed. Being charge $445 for a brake. Will never recommend anyone to come to this workshop.

Booked my Dad's car in to have the parking break repaired for his WOF. The job was completed efficiently and we felt was really reasonably priced. We would recommend to others and plan to use these guys again ourselves.

Got some replacement gas struts for a rear van door with extra weight and to a higher opening. These guys went out of their way to measure it all up, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Price also very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone!

I needed a quick and prompt oil and filter change as it was long overdue as I live and travel full-time on the road towing a 3.5 T off road caravan. Usually I do my oil changes every 3-4months and my old boy VW touareg V8 has just gone on 19 years and hadn't changed oil since last service in December. Got in asap and I highly regard their fast and efficient services. Thanks guys I know who to call anytime I'm in the Nelson area. Big ups

I had two gas struts from my motor home required re-gassing. I phoned Tony and he advised that he could do the work within 24 hours. He actually completed the job today in less than 30 minutes! Outstanding! Very pleased and impressed.

As always an awesome job done. Easy to book, they did pick up and drop off as I couldn't and a great job at a fair price.

I had a WOF done—they saw me on short notice. Tony replaced a broken light and cleaned my headlights for free. Really appreciated the extra service. The owner, Tony, is very nice.
