I enjoyed the food. I had house smoked salmon with poached eggs - delish. The cafe has a good vibe.

Coffee is good but often served too cold. Even though I asked for extra hot. The price of cake slices in their cabinet is getting outrageous. $7 90 for a caramel slice. Really?

Rude Server - "Dine in or Take away"
Me - "Oh i'll just have coffee here. "
RS - "Dine in or Take away"
Me - "Yup dine in then. "
RS - "What do you want? "
Me - "Just a medium flat white"
RS - "We don't do medium flat whites"
Me - "Ill have whatever this one is" points to the cup right in front of her
RS - "SMALL OR LARGE"
Me - "This one. " me pointing to the cup.
RS - "It's written on the cup" The cup that she knows i'm pointing to.
Person behind me - "There's actually nothing written on it"
RS - "Oh it's supposed to be there. " Proceeds to ignore me. No apology.

What was an otherwise good day just ruined by this person.
The barista and everyone else is nice. Just a weirdly hostile interaction for no reason whatsoever.

Great food, great service. Really enjoyed the view of the sea and wharf. The best food was the eggs benedict or sourdough pancakes.

Great coffee at the right temperature! The team were super friendly and accommodating and helped us keep a few kids entertained whilst we enjoyed a coffee or two. Thanks!

Consistently delicious food and decent coffee. There’s a reason why it always packed and the other cafes / restaurants aren’t.

What a wonderful cafe had the best eggs Benedict so tasty and included spinach as it should. The views looking out over the wharf are wonderful. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent time here

Delicious French toast. Excellent barista, both times I have had coffee here it has been a really good brew.

Beautiful blue sky day, sat on a comfortable outdoor sofa seat and enjoyed a GREAT coffee and scone. The let down was the rude, abrupt staff member who served us. I couldn’t quite believe it. As we sat we heard her being just as sharp to the next lot of customers sitting along from us. We heard them mutter ‘ we won’t hurry back here’. It was a real shame as apart from that it was perfect.

I dont normally comment but must this time Sarah who makes coffee was the most rudest person I've ever encountered other staff were really lovely.coffee was opposite to what I wanted she wouldn't listen wouldn't look at me muttered under her breath very very rude

Had takeaways one day and sat down the next. Coffee is excellent, but was quite a long wait both times for coffee and the second day they forgot one of them. (Noting they were busier on the Sunday than the Monday we went) I also ordered a date scone and it was fairly dry. Beautiful spot though.

Had an awesome Brunch at #albertas #albertasmapua today. Sadly, the main menu, 'Big Brekkie', was devoured before a photo could be taken LOL.

Kai was scrumptious, as was the kāwhe and smoothie. It couldn't have been any better.

Service was outstanding, not a long wait, despite being really busy and both inside and out full of diners.

So so delicious! I’ve never had such a cool avo smash - highly recommend as it has all the trimmings. Excellent coffee and great tunes playing. Awesome.

Jumped on the jetski from Monaco and shot over to mapua for breakfast, the staff were accommodating with my request to sit closer to the dock to keep an eye on the ski. Eggs Benedict was next level amazing, highly recommend you stop past here for atleast a coffee.

Great wee find which is located right next to the rabbit island co. Lovely atmosphere, great comfy and lovely tasting food.

Alberta's in Mapua is a great place to unwind for a coffee and a yummy treat. The coffee was nice and hot, and had a full flavour. The chocolate brownie was delicious. Looking forward to coming back!

Exceptional coffee and food, beautiful view, chilled atmosphere. One of those places you wish wasn’t three flights away from home ;)

The food and service is always amazing sometimes there can be a little wait but that is only expected as they are very popular and care about the quality. Would highly recommend especially for breakfast and a coffee
