Bark Bay Hut

Stuning hut!
Clean and tidy, lot of space!
Very good location.
Go for a swim at the beach!

Hut ok no shower bring your food your gas station your lamp you have to boil the water in order to drink it
It is 2 bedroom of 14 mattress if you are with your partner you should arrive around 2pm to have the chance to have two mattress near your partner. Bring all the life necessities (sleeping bag) sandflies repellent it is far away from the beach (5min by walk)
You must have a rubbish bag to carry your rubbish until the end you won’t find public dustbin. The toilet have toilet paper but bring yours just in case. I recommend to take a pair of flip-flop because you will take off your hiking shoes and it will be such a relief:)

Super cozy hut which was perfect in the off season as it really didn't feel crowded at all!

The bunk beds were super sturdy and actually surprisingly nice.

Fire place was a bit of a nightmare to get started but that was purely down the damp wood, once we got it started, the hut heated up beautifully.

Amazing value for money.

Cool place, sharing bunks sleeping side by is a different but an experience

Get to know your roomies well! There are 2 bunk rooms with 2 long platforms, 1 at ground level & 1 as a bunk above. Each platform has 7 mattresses side by side. Large lounge area with wood-burning stove, deck & picnic tables outside. Outlook into estuary & beach which is about 200m from the hut. WiFi & filtered water available plus charging station.
