Collingwood Holiday Park

We only had two nights at this beautiful camp but they were heavenly! Quiet and so well maintained. Right by the sea. Loved watching the tides and bird life yet close to shops etc if you needed anything. The best showers and bathrooms ever. Would love to go back for longer.

We very much look forward to our annual holiday at collingwood with Jac and Grant they go above and beyond with their help and care and are very hard working and the camp ground reflects this, counting down the days until Dec already! Thanks guys for sharing a piece of paradise with us

We stayed at the park in our camper. The whole park was immaculate. The managers are very friendly. Toilet & shower blocks are modern & clean. Great beach & handy having the township so close. I would thoroughly recommend staying there

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Probably the best facilities I've used since being in NZ - self-enclosed bathrooms. Spacious, hot, and powerful showers.
We were lucky with the weather but the walk we did (from Farewell Spit over to the white sand beach and loop back) was stunning and full of variety, if a bit steep in places. The best day walk in NZ we have done though.

Grant and Jac run a clean and efficient camp at Collingwood, had a great time.

We stayed 2 nights on a powered beach front Motorhome site. It was absolutely idyllic (as the pictures will prove). It is a small, well kept campground. The toilet/shower facilities are fantastic and you didn't have to pay for the shower.

We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and we will most certainly come back.

I Love this place. Love the beauty of nature, the wild weather, the calm weather, the river and wildlife.
And the hosts are great too.

We had a camper space right by the water. Great views, Xtra helpful managers and super clean public areas. Definately stay there, you won't regret it

We really enjoyed our stay. Great people running the place and lots of great fellow campers. Most of them there for the 'bait' season. Including my mates Peter and Wendy. My mother really enjoyed it, powered site right by the water. Coffee in the village and dinner at the pub one night too.

Beautiful clean amenities staff very friendly and helpful. We were in our motorhome, unfortunately weather turned to custard and trip out to Farewell Spit canceled. Pub was good also, food nice. Everyone was very friendly.

The staff were very helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. This is the one-holiday park we would refer to have your stay without any doubt whatsoever! It is worthwhile to stay there, the bathrooms are fantastically spacious, well-serviced and clean.

A great hard site right by the sea with awesome unobstructed views of the hills and estuary. This is our 6th camping trip to the Collingwood camp in the last 3 years. The bathroom facilities are so modern and clean. We didn’t use the kitchens but noted they were spotless too. Jac and Grant manage the camp and are the most accommodating couple. Each time we visit we see their progress in making this a beautiful spot to visit. Thanks guys.

Great place. Friendly owners. Clean kitchens and showers. Will use again. Great view of the estuary and ocean.

Excellent location, very picturesque. Handy to shops and shore. Staff are friendly and professional, we had no problems checking in at a slightly later time. The rooms were cozy and well kept. Showers and facilities all cleaned and convenient.
Edit Update: Another amazing stay, this time with family. They all enjoyed the stay and give 10/10 for the shower. They enjoyed the cozy cabins and easy access to the beach.

Always love coming here, we bring our camper so don't know about the rooms but they have shower and loo facilities and laundry. We were there for a week unfortunately it was drizzling most of the time but even a week's worth of drizzle in Collingwood beats a day of sunshine anywhere else. Love this place nothing is a problem and they go out of their way to make you feel at home.
