First time buying since new owners took over and I must say KTs name has been let down. Delightful service, not so much food.

$4.60 for a scoop, and what an awful scoop it was. Overcooked, soggy and not worth it. Wont be back and cant recommend sorry.

Used to enjoy great fish n chips from KTs but now new owners, prices gone up and Food quality has gone to the pack now.

Wosrt food ever chips were like eating bricks fish was horrible tasted like it's been in the freezer for years also paid 49 $ for our meal then drove home to dovedale and a lot of our order was not in the package very dissipointed recommend going to the Asian take aways on main the street way better cleaner and cheaper

Chips were overcooked and the gurnard was too, the olds werent impressed.

We have always enjoyed the consistently good chips and GF batter on their fresh fish. It has now changed hands and the shoe string chips were brown and golden, the GF batter has changed from a thin crispy, crunchy batter to a thick gluggy coating that is more like an envelope around the fish, so much so that you can empty the fish out of the batter!

Excellent service found to be very expensive for fish. Small portions of chips and fish crumbed not great.

Chips cooked ahead of fish - drained well. Kept in warmer until fish cooked. Fish barely drained so soggy and batter fell off. Disappointing when fish cost $9.80 each! Will be making my own in future.

Clean and friendly. Dissatisfied with the fish.very tough. The hotdog was was underdone with wet batter. Jury's out for now.

Bought fish and chips. Very delicious fish. Really good, But I wouldn’t have it deep fried again because the batter too greasy. Chips tasted stale.

I LOVE their food! And their super awesome friendly service. Though damn! How many flipping time's do I have to ask for BEETRROOT! In my burger - well this is the 5th time and previous times (within 6 months) there has been FLIPPLING BEETROOT in my burgers with out even having to ask for beetroot! Not good. I came in last night (08/02/2022) specifically asking for extra beetroot and got none in my burger literally none! Giving that I am a REGULAR, PLEASE LISTEN AND SORT THIS OUT!

We had hotdogs and chips and a piece of fish to hotdogs and fish could’ve been drained a little bit longer and chips cooked a little bit firmer than that still happy with it

Popular and Quick. Good service. They were busy. Nice photos of fishing boats on wall and older magazines. Still an interesting selection.
Fish was dear but 3 sorts and prices. Mussels and oysters and potato fritters very nice.
Was recommended by a friend.

While the fish was lovely, I also got a spring roll which was not hot in the middle as it obviously had not been nuked first to defrost it. The shop is lovely and clean with lots of new products and the staff are very friendly.

Excellent meal. Gurnard had been frozen but was still nice. The batter was thin and very crisp. Chips good and the oysters were tasty in that excellent batter. Fresh fish wasn't available unfortunately.

Currently under construction due to fire damage. Can't wait till it's complete and open again. Great fish and chips

Fish, not fan of the over cooked crispy batter type, but many like that, chips just perfect, burgers since the arrival of new burger making guy are perfect. Could work on their timing so your burgers don't have to sit going cold in the warmer for so long. Older lady quite surly, recommend trying to avoid her lol - other wise cuerrently, well worth stopping in.

Fantastic good sized fish chips hot dog combo for $25 for 2. We were happy with the value quality and the size.

We go here every Wednesday or Thursday for our fish and chips
We will never go anywhere else as jono and Jenny are loving and caring people

Yummy light crispy batter, great friendly service. Fish burger was delicious. Prices on par. Very happy and will return.
