PAK'nSAVE Richmond

Finally save enough money after struggling all week and we dress one pizza base before we notice a smaller patch on the second base. Which is also all over the one we just wasted our home grown food on.
Moldy bases sold 5 days before the used by date. Both bases broken and crumbling. The worse quality food I've ever lost nearly $9 too. This isn't right we pay for food not moldy rotten waste.
How at these prices is this allowed? ! Whats the food industry standards for this?

I must say I think supermarkets are emphasizing friendliness because the big supermarkets appear to be very friendly and talkative which is really nice or are they being nice to us old's.

As a pac n saver, I've been to a few & Richmond is the newest/flashiest Pac n Save I've seen

Here you get everything at good price. It is inside the Richmond mall and Mall has big parking lot. Staff is very helpful.

I love that you can take a scanner and scan groceries as you go. Very easy to use. If you're on a strict budget you know exactly what you're spending

Wayyy cheaper than freshchoice.

Edited to 1 star as I'm sick of constantly finding empty shelves while boxes of the products I'm looking for are in the storage racks above.

Pak'nSave usually has the best deals. Craft beer selection is great! Weekend mornings are crazy busy but evenings are much better!

There ads are always the best on tv, there prices are normally great although they are going up and its big and a go to supermarket.

Great prices friendly staff, thou I must admit have had one or two staff members in the past who weren't friendly and nice but that was a few months back now (one was a manager, which you wouldn't expect that) since then I think it's improved with there staff. Easy to find what your looking for.

Best pak, nsave we have been in, clean, well stocked and quick service, if we lived in Nelson we would come here all the time

Winton for milk didn't have my brand Dr three other products I wanted the shelves were empty or I don't have it wasn't too impressed

Very disappointed with Pak n Save. I go once week for my shopping and 3 out 4 times in past month I have been overcharged for at least one item each time. 2 ltr milk I missed and realized later. Got charged for 2 lettuces last Friday and i had only one and today got charged for 3 Maggi had 2. Also brought some buns for tea and it would seem that I don't have them for our burgers. Pretty good, never had any issues and the new scanning your own groceries is fun and also easy to do, you can see how much you have in your trolley at a glance. All in all pretty good unless you forget to scan something and then they have to scan your whole trolley. Certainly makes you concentrate.

I probably won't be back there for a while as u can't pack your groceries inside now you have to take all your groceries to your car in the carpark to pack them. Not nice if it's pouring down with rain and the carport is busy

A good supermarket to shop at if food costs are a concern. Well stocked (mostly) with a reasonable range of deli and specialty items. Easily accessible and clearly labelled aisles.

Outstanding range of fresh fruit & veggies. Frozen NZ Salmon tails exceptionally low price @$24 kg. Wine specials excellent. Staff helpful. Young lady at butchery excelled in customer service. THANK YOU

Busy place. I noticed the last few months that prices are not so sharp anymore as it used to be. Also a pattern concerning sales. First at another supermarket group and next week same products on sale at P&S. (Or vice versa). Sales are nearly the same in price and products. So is it still worth to drive over Takaka Hill to Richmond for groceries?

Enjoy shopping with the personal scanners. Great to get through quickly instead of waiting in a long line. Still get to say hi to the staff!

Wow big variety of meat, bakery & everything else! And a nice big area around the checkout.much better than our Gisborne shop.

More for the family shopper. I live alone and found most things packed for families. Especially meat. Nice wide isles though.
