Sal's Authentic New York Pizza - Richmond

Fantastic experience, first time trying Sals and got the half and half pizza. The two ladies working tonight had great customer service and manners, after ordering we decided to ask if we could change it to a meal deal and pay the difference - they were so kind and threw in garlic knots for free. We usually get fancy pizza but opted for the half cheese and half pepperoni and was very happy. Thank you will be returning!

Phoned in an order to pick up later in the afternoon, service was good and organized. Went in to pick up my order and it was coming out the oven, on time. Pizza was so fresh and cheesey. Buffalo wings go good with Ranch.
Restaurant was nice and clean, welcoming staff.

One pizza was too salty and the other had one taste not enjoyable at all. The Manhattan and the Brooklyn wouldn't recommend

I had the pleasure of visiting Sal's Pizza and let me tell you, it was an absolute culinary delight! The pizzas were out-of-this-world delicious, with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I tried both the classic pepperoni and the plain cheese pizzas, and they were both simply divine. But what really set this place apart was the amazing seasoning blend they use - just a sprinkle of it takes the flavor to a whole new level! And if you're a fan of a bit of heat, be sure to ask for some chili flakes to add to your pie.

But the real star of the show at Sal's Pizza was the fantastic service from the manager, Bonny. She was the epitome of hospitality, greeting us with a warm smile and treating us like family from the moment we stepped in the door. Her cheerful attitude and attention to detail made our experience truly special.

Overall, I can't recommend Sal's Pizza highly enough. If you're looking for the perfect combination of mouthwatering pizza and exceptional service, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. Five stars all around!

Went and sat down with my family, staff was friendly and pizza was great. Parking was easily available (handicap accessible too). Atmosphere in the place is great and awesome selection of ice cream. The staff is what makes it. Even hooked us up with some sauce. Always a great option for dinner

Just wanted to thank the Richmond team for great service. I stupidly ordered from Richmond branch when we were in Queenstown. Gave them a call and they sorted it no problem. They even rang back to check we had received order. Many thanks and just saying yours are better

I took myself and my 3 kids there for a lunchtime snack, we had excellent service from a worker named Bonny, and the kids were very pleased with their food, we will definitely be coming back!

Ordered half cheese & half pepperoni, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. Pizza crust is proportioned not too thin and not too thick so the pizza is still good even it turns cold. The original buffalo wings crispy even with the coating. Sauces/dips are all good. Free water is provided. Staff are quick and friendly.

Garlic knots need more garlic, pepperoni pizza was very oily, chicken wings were great. Wouldn't rush back though.

I had Sals many times when I lived in Christchurch and was very pleased to see there's one here in Richmond. This Sals matches my experience at the other store so I will keep coming back.

Even on a Friday evening we got a seat for 6 and our 2 pizzas arrived really quickly. Hard working friendly staff, and we even left with 1/2 a pizza leftover.
Massive feed, great service

We each stopped in for a slice of pizza, which we were served up on a paper plate too small for the slice which touched out table top and was dripping in so much oil my pizza loving kids wouldn't eat it, I had heartburn all night from eating only half my slice, not nice at all.

I ordered a chicken and mushrooms pizza with extra chicken and extra mushrooms and cost me $70.00, which is $20.00 on top of the normal price.when I arrived home, I realized that the chicken is actually EXPIRED chicken schnitzel from whatever frozen chicken schnitzel product. I expected actual chicken meat, the same I was always buying and not this smelly and elastic so called chicken.
I will probably have to move my quarter to another pizza maker.
You just lost me, guys, and I am sure you will continue to lose customers should you continue to buy cheap / expired product to replace your actual designated recipe.

Bad service, greasy overpriced pizza oil and sauce dripping off of it. I can see why no one else was in there maybe 22nd best pizza on the south island
