Excellent service and staff, attentive enough to meet all needs without being interfering, friendly and efficient. Lovely grounds and good food. There’s a reason this gem has been so popular for so long! Always get cake if you visit, there are plenty to choose from.

Always a nice place to visit. Buzzing atmosphere. Food and coffee very good. Menu seems pretty much unchanged. Maybe a good thing for some people but sort of same old same old if you are a regular visitor.

Great place, especially on a sunny warm day with lots of outdoor seating in a green surrounding. Breakfast was delicious and coffee quality excellent.

Honestly really disappointed. First time here and asked if I should order at till or if it was table service. They said to grab a table and they’d come over to me. 30 minutes later no one ever came. I tried to make eye contact with the server but she completely ignored me. Two other couples sat down after me and the server completely ignored them until a different server asked if one couple had been served and they said no they were waiting on menus. The other couple ended up leaving after getting no service for 10 minutes. I get the server seemed busy but everyone who came out didn’t even look at me, despite trying to wave them over. Heard good things and was excited to try, but service was awful and server clearly wasn’t trained well.

Fantastic food, great price, even better in the company of wonderful friends. A local place to eat for many many years

Every visit to this place is lovely, it's clean & the food is yum, the staff are very helpful & on the ball with order's.

A local legend that’s worth a visit. Great food and drinks. Amazing garden to sit in on a fine day. It’s located in the old factory corner so have lunch and then browse the other local legends.

Excellent meal. The fish salad was amazing. Very promptly served in a beautiful outdoor setting

A bit alternative and vegetarian for me but most people seemed to enjoy their meals. It was 50/50 at our table for enjoyment.

Incredible food and friendly staff. Grape Escape has long been a family favourite and that won't be changing any time soon! The garden area is so beautiful and the entire place just feels so peacefully relaxed. A definite gem!

Nice food and staff. Only minus was the amount of noise from passing cars on main road, a virtual constant steam of cars coming by to park for both Grape Escape and adjacent retail businesses (re which the adjacent market has very good fresh produce (meat and veg), and a keen local who decided that lunchtime was a great time to fire up the ride on mower.

We still had a lovely meal. If you can parcel out the ambient noise it's very very good.

A classy place for lunch. Relaxed, leafy garden surroundings. Excellent food and chirpy, attentive wait staff. Very reasonable prices. Would be good to have a vegan friendly main option.

Had lunch twice and the food is not only great but soooo much of it. It was very busy but the staff still had time to ask if everything was to our liking!

Excellent place to stop for lunch. Few GF options. Was a 30min wait when we went at a busy lunch time. Reserve a table if you're in the busy season and want to sit outside. Overall good lunchtime experience

Excellent food and service. Outdoor dining area is spacious. There is also kids friendly play area. Recommend booking first.

Great place with a nice cottage garden, little Christmas Store, and delicious veggie options. I had the Garden Breakfast with two extra eggs. Super recommended.
