The Tasman General Store reviews
11 Good coffee stop on our bike rides
Great carrot cake
Good long black too
Thanks Lance
Such a nice spot to stop. Nice sossy Roll. Really nice young lady served me. Creative design on the tables outside. Jesus loves you.
Great place to stop for coffee and lovely home baked snacjes/cakes a really good destination to bike to as very accommodating to cyclists with a larger setting area at the side in garden. Could make themselves a real stop off as nothing else in area.cyclists
Great real fruit ice creams! This is the local store if you are staying at Kina Beach or Tasman Holiday Park. Sells homemade pies for FridayPieDay, plus lots of great cakes (can recommend the Tradie Slice!) Also sell milk in GLASS bottles, with a return scheme for empties
"The local" neat little store with GREAT coffee and service... Watch out for the food though... All very more-ish! (especially the cheesse scones!) There are nearby galleries, two schools, cylce trail, and an active Tasman Church... All-round great community.
Great ice blocks. Lots of seating outside.
Good selection of drinks and food.
Local art and pleasant garden.
A nice selection of food, especially gluten - free. Choice of indoor and outdoor tables. Right on the cycle trail too.
Great coffee, and vanilla slice. Also selling the best strawberries from valley strawberries Upper Moutere.
Great coffee. Best sausage roll.
Also highly recommend the Florentines.
These guys know how to bake.
Great coffee, local wines, lots of pastries with a couple of vegan options. Lovely place too, with garden seating.
They do real fruit icecream and frozen yoghurt and yummy cakes, scones, pies. Great coffee too. There are also a few basic groceries for sale as well as local beer, wine and cider and berries and nuts when in season. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. They let me take my dog through the side gate into the back garden/ seating area.
Be warned if you come by for a real fruit icecream that the machine is cleaned half an hour before closing! There are other icecreams available in the freezer should you be unfortunate enough to arrive late:)
