What a find, The Wooden Spoon, such a delightful place to sit, ponder life, eat some scrumptious kai and drink GR8 kāwhe.

Atmosphere was nice and relaxing, plenty of space between tables, music very tasteful and not too loud.

Service was excellent, staff very friendly, menu amazing, and kāwhe was perfect as was the smoothie.

Couldn't have been better.

Nuce clean cafe with interesting cabinet choices and good coffee. In the heart of Richmond and can be accessed from Queen St or through the back door opposite the pubkic hall.

Meh, eggs were very wet. Not sure how much love was put in the dish. Cute ambiance but only ok food. Has so much potential. Mushroom bene was good but also very wet.

Quick stop out of town for breakfast. Friendly staff, excellent coffee and eggs, bacon & toast.

Came here for Coffee with the kids. Then they decided they wanted Milkshakes and burgers. Coffee was really really good, as was the food. The big letdown was the milkshakes which barely contained any flavour - it was like milk in a cup. Overall very good experience, just a shame the Milkshakes weren’t as good as everything else.

Stopped in on cold wet n wild day staff where friendly and hot chocolates where yummy lolly cake was devine

Best Bacon & Eggs I have ever had! Delicious! Amazingly fast service when they were staff down to two! Highly Recommend! They gladly cooked beautiful gluten free toast after I ordered incorrectly. Attention to detail! Great friendly staff that go the extra mile! I just died and went to Breakfast Heaven!

Was up here for work and needed somewhere to eat

Was a bit quiet to start with but that was because we were early. Limited menu but beautiful food esp the mince on toast

Beautiful lunch - keto eggs bene. Coffee was great too. Bit short staffed so had to wait a bit for the food but was well worth it. Will definitely visit again.

It was my understanding that with COVID-19 rules when going into food places to have a sit down meal that you are seated and one person serves you however this did not happen instead we are lining up in a queue of 7 people
Waiting to be serve and then you have to order from a board and not a menu
I was not even asked for a vaccine pass. Not very welcoming anymore!

Absolutely love the chai latte makes me feel nostalgic takes away all the stress off a long night shift. My go to for a chai latte just how I like it love the food and their hospitality

We love going there 2-3 times a week, great customer service, the girls are amazing, the foods so so awesome, the hot drinks are omg, sooo good, and the atmosphere is so inviting.

The best cafe experience that we enjoyed during our 5 days staying in Richmond. Warm atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and nice breakfasts.poached eggs, bacon and tomato and toast with cream cheese and jam. Not forgetting the great coffees!

Great coffee and food. Had the eggs benedict which was ready much faster than expected, was filling and tasted great! Not the cheapest but was worth the price.

We are from it of town so I checked out the reviews first. Definately not disappointed.
Great coffee, hot and tasty. Food well priced but very generous serving. For the grill the steak was a little under cooked but they happily re cooked it to our liking. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Great spot for brunch.
