As the manager of this centre, i am perplexed how people who have never visited or enrolled their children, can leave negative reviews. Our centre actively works to create a welcoming place for the children and families within the community. Come and visit us anytime.

I wish there were more stars to give, as this Centre deserves at least 10.
I transferred my then 3 year old boy to this Centre as he cried every single day for 18 months at his old daycare. He was welcomed every morning by the same friendly faces who made him feel so special each and every day. And this never stops, my youngest (now 2) comes to AE Farnborough and waltzes through the door like he owns the place. The staff here (especially the two Centre Managers) make us feel like we're the most loved and special family on the planet.
They may not have all the bells and whistles of a flash new purpose-built Centre, but the love and dedication that oozes out of these teachers is invaluable.
As much as I wanted to keep this little gem a secret, I want every child and every parent to experience what we have with our two boys.

Both my kids have been, or are currently being cared for at Active Explorers. I really appreciate the thought and consideration they have for the kids and the cool activities they provide for the kids to get involved in.

This centre is amazing and the teachers have been so wonderful with my children. I have had 3 children attend the centre and each of them has quickly found a favorite teacher that they loved seeing everyday. Centre management has been so supportive of our whanau and helped me through sometimes of struggle. I could not recommend this centre more.

Just started my daughter in daycare and I am happy that I have found Active Explorers? I was anxious abt the idea putting my 1yo in daycare but they made it such a breezy in transition. I have peace of mind knowing my daughter is in good hands and the teachers are passionate of looking after every kid in their care.

AE Farnborough is a fantastic daycare full of fun and exciting activities for the kids. My son is going there since he was 1 and I’m lucky to find the best one. The teachers are all friendly and very helpful kind and loving natured. My son is very fussy and the teachers at the centre always tries their very best to ensure he gains confidence and good manners. The centre has become part of our family and we share the same goal towards the upbringing of our children. I know my children and I will forever remember this place even when they are all grown up. This is where the beginning of a safe environment and their fun and learning started without their parents and with the teachers made of gold.

My son has been attending this daycare for 5 years & he absolutely loves it. It has been a challenge some mornings but the team know exactly how to make him feel welcomed. It's going to be sad saying goodbye to you all next week as he ventures off to school but I couldn't have done it without you guys! I highly recommend Active Explorers on Farnborough Drive. They'll take great care of your little wee tots?

My experience with Active Explorers Farnborough is really good, my son is improving a lot his communication over there because he is learning two languages at same time; our first language is Spanish and obviously at the daycare is English but teachers are learning few words in Spanish to communicate with him. I don’t drive so I can walk to drop and pick him up. Kind teachers and I don’t participate much at the activities because I have a baby but they involve with families to share. Flexible and friendly place.

Most amazing place for my daughter who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy she is wheelchair bounded and gets tube feed and is fully dependent for everything didn’t start daycare till she was 4 as I was always worried if she would be looked after rite because of her special needs but had to send her somewhere for her socialisation I still remember the day I went to just visit daycare and came back home feeling I should try her out there what’s the worst that’s going to happen she will come back home day one she was welcomed with open arms by all the teachers and kids as centre already starting taking about my daughter with kids there I was only there 2 hr to support my daughter then and today she is part of them never ever I had the second thought about if this is rite for her she is so loved at that place they never did anything special just just for her all they did was to make saisha part of them keeping her needs in mind and giving her as normal surrounding as they could like all other kids there I can write so much more positive things you done for us but will keep it here this girl who never left her mummy side since birth is so comfortable with you guys that it makes me feel jealous at times when she doesn’t want to Come back home with me thank you guys from bottom of my heart you have given me some independence and the time saisha needed thank you for being so understanding and loving thank you so much I had to share this as there are many out there like us you guys are amazing oh ya they have also learned doing tube feds for her as well

Absolutely adore this centre! They’re warm, welcoming, safe and very caring. The teachers and manager are all amazing and they care for the children so much, they truely go above and beyond. And I love the cultural diversity. I would recommend them to anyone looking for daycare for their child.

I had 2 kids go through 5-7 years ago and have my 3rd here, the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful, my kids have always had lots of fun, my big kids still have a lot of memory's from there time at active explorers
