Amazing clinic. Receptionists are all lovely, as was the doctor, and I was seen promptly. You can tell a lot of care goes into everyone's roles!

I went here because I had an allergy reaction to a product. The doctor prescribed me scabies cream and argued that it was bed bugs and said I have to flea bomb my whole house. It wasn't any fleas, no insects, nothing. I went to my actual GP at Hamilton Lake clinic, they said it is definitely an allergy reaction, I got prescribed strong antihistamines, I feel better now. Just wanted to warn people be careful going to Anglesea A&E they sometimes don't know what they are saying and could cause problems.

I don't want to give a single star to them because of very poor service I have never ever faced in my life. Very rude staff specially nurses. The staff should get some training to understand the meaning of emergency. They are creating emergency by not seeing patients on time. They just wasting time to only watching patients name slips again and again to just harrase patients over the reception. Management should think over it.

Do not recommend this clinic. The wait is absolutely shocking. You might as well go to hospital at least you get a bed and be more comfortable instead of being mislead on time frame to be seen! At the hospital you are at least offered a meal and coffee and medication to keep you comfortable and not sit around pain. Anglesea don't even offer you any medication and staff have a don't care attitude! Will definitely not recommend this medical centre! Shocking experience and not very many happy patients waiting around. Staff don't communicate and when you ask questions you get can't tell you sorry you must wait! Drove all the way from the Awamutu and sat around from 11-4pm and still not seen by a doctor when arriving was only a 2 hour wait. Then when leaving to step outside for 2 minutes to grab my meds and juice from vehicle and I walked back I asked how far I was and they tell me I just missed my appointment so now I must wait in line till I get called again. Pretty pathetic they could not even call me or phone my cell number! Shocking service! Do not be fooled at there tv screen hours either! Time wasters!

I came in with a fractured toe. I could hardly walk but not one of the staff gave me assistance or asked if I was ok. They just watched as I hobbled in pain I felt degraded.

When urgent care takes 6 hours to give even if referred by St John's Ambulance. Think first before you travel from the country.

Went in originally for a very sore leg, had a very bad doctor to start with but when I asked for another one; I was provided with Adriana. She was the best doctor I’ve ever come across, Very easy to deal with, professional, bubbly and a big heart. This turned my whole experience from very Dissatisfied into a very positive outcome with the right treatment that the first doctor couldn’t do.

The nurse Julia is very rude. She answered the phone with an attitude and bid farewell to cut the conversation short. I was polite throughout the phone call and did not speak in a manner that would evoke an attitude like this. When I told her, there was more I need to talk about, as she tried to end the call, she replied “goodbye now, bye, bye, bye”. No questions were answered. Call ended in 1 minute. Why pick up the phone, only to hang up? Very disrespectful.

Despite the negative reviews my experience was really positive. I went in for a cut on my foot and was treated by some lovely staff. The doctor was super clear and knowledgeable too!

Went in there because I cut my finger open, there was a lot of blood! But the reception and nurses took care of that straight away which I was extremely thankful for. However I think they need better communication, I was told I could keep the bandaging on during my X-ray but when I went through to get it done I was told to take it off, she stated “they shouldn’t be telling you how I do my job” I don’t care for their work place drama but I thought her attitude was very forward and made me feel extremely uncomfortable… I asked to keep the bandaging on due to the amount of blood that was pouring out of my finger and I was very understanding that she was only trying to do her job. She seemed to get even more mad that I didn’t want to take it off, which escalated to me having a panic attack and a break down because I felt forced. Everyone else (reception, nurses and the doctor) were all amazing to me and made sure I was comfortable and attended to straight away, my only problem was with the lady who did the X-ray. As her job is to assist, make us feel comfortable and run the X-ray through smoothly without any discomfort. This was not the case.

$99 to see a doctor in an emergency.
Its like they pick up all the people who get sent from the hospital and make a profit.
Plus a little fine print about another $40 charge.

The nurse that I saw upon arrivals child came into the clinic and yells hi mum. Got to see the nurse (who was their mum) and taken straight into see the doctor and left again. Leaving a waiting room filled with patients and a wait time of 3 hours.

Have been to this clinic when it’s busy and when it’s not. Helpful and efficient staff.
Triage process is there to determine priority of who gets seen by the Doctors first.
Wait time display seemed reasonably accurate but be prepared to wait as long as it takes

Just had a visit to emergency due having allergic itchy reactions, the waiting time was a bit more then expected. But the doctor I saw tonight was truely the best his name was Dr Umo Ofonume. He treats you with respect. Trying to do his best to fix and help you. It’s good to see Nz actually having good doctors that care about people, and knows exactly what he’s doing Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Anglesea A and E. Fell off my bike this morning and broke my ankle. From the receptionist, the Triage nurse, radiographer to the Dr and nurses, you were all wonderful. Fantastic care and attention. Would love to say I’ll be coming back but I hope not.

We have been waiting for the last two hours, I asked the receptionist can we please see the docurgentlyenly, and she replied you have to wait.
Asked her again prob half an hour later she said other people are more urgent.
We understand that. But I asked her how long she said only one patient left.
5 more patients came and went in we were still waiting.
We still understand that less staff but she doesn't even know how to talk with patients. One other patient left the way she dealt with him. It was around 8ish today

Waited three hours to see a 'Nurse Practitioner'. Not a doctor. Our grandchild was traumatised from previous visits with doctors, and the Nurse showed her frustration by yelling at our toddler to "stop it! ". Most unprofessional. If anything, my poor grandchild is more terrified of visiting the doctors because of this nurse's impatience. This clinic is run like a business, minimal care, maximum cost.
