Babaganush Turkish Restaurant and Cafe

Popped in for a takeaway kebab. I was very excited to have a good quality kebab from a restaurant. Unfortunately I was disappointed. It was ok, nothing special.

Staff are kind and attentive and always ready to help. Price isn’t bad for the quality and is good to bring larger groups for a decent priced good quality dinner.

Had a quick yet great lunch while visiting Hamilton. Place was quite busy with locals - always a good sign. Service was excellent. Food - very good! Calamari meze was superb - calamari were very nicely fried, tender and juicy. Vegetarian moussaka and babaganush were delicious too. And of course, a cap of proper Turkish coffee with baklava is a must!

Friendly service, great range of food. Totally value for money, and really tasty food. Great place for a group or family, but also nice tables for couples or friends having a catch up.

Yummy food, lamb was tender and flavorful; sultan meze platter had many tasty dips.my only wish is that we had dined in rather than gotten takeaway so we could experience the atmosphere and order a drink.

Babaganush was amazing! The food was outstanding, I forgot to get a photo of our entree, it was the garlic bread and was fantastic! The kebab was HUGE. Pizza was awesome for the kids and the wife had the Iskender she was raving about it, the couscous side dish she especially enjoyed. Topped it off with baklava! Couldn’t have asked for a better night. We were able to sit outside which was a real treat in the sunshine. Do yourself a favor and eat here when I. Hamilton East!

The restaurant name is Babaganush so I was disappointed that they had run out of it and had no ability to make any? Maybe they were waiting for a delivery of some pre-made. The food was very bland.the dips as tasty as from a plastic tub and the bread looked to me like a premade pizza base with some cheese on top. The McDonald's of Turkish restaurants. This restaurant was totally let down by the food and average service.

We were served by such a lovely guy, so friendly and helpful and accommodating. He looked like he genuinely enjoyed his work which makes you so much relaxed when you don't go out much! He made a point of pointing out which dips were vegan for my daughter, without even being asked. The food was absolutely outstanding, matching the service perfectly! Lovely, relaxed environment, good choice of drinks, over all an excellent experience! Thank you team Babaganush!

I have been living in Hamilton since 2018 and I’ve just heard this restaurant until last week. The environment is amazing. The atmosphere looked great and sleek, with fair prices compared with the quality presented. Staff were friendly and amazing. Specially SEEMA Excellent service!
