Cambridge Automotive reviews
12Absolutely top notch service from the whole team.had my car break down and previously had it at another mechanics for 2 weeks with no resolution. Booked it in here and the team had the problem diagnosed the same morning replacement part ordered and back driving the next day with great communication to let me know my options and what was happening. Wish I had known about them earlier will definitely be my go too
Have never meet the people at Cambridge automotive but have used them several times with our two daughters vehicles in Cambridge, never a problem, easy to communicate and always following up, we can't rate this service any better than what they provide, keep it up, top service.
This would have to be the best garage of expert mechanics with the most extreme professional and proficient 10-star Office Manager (Tayla). She provides nothing but excellent workmanship throughout my entire life of being a car owner. They are clear, transparent and meet all expectations of a customer. I cannot emphasis enough on the prompt response Tayla provides, with keeping me well informed with progress on service to vehicle. As a collective team they are very thorough and collectively work as a team. Her hospitality and the way her and the mechanics run the business is extraordinary. I would nominate this Garage for the BEST EVER GARAGE IN NZ.
Always happy with the team, so fast and efficient, great communication from Tayla and the boys. Will always recommend other people to come here!
I have a 2006 Nissan Maxima. The original problem was that the car would cut out and not go into gear only reverse. I was told it was the solanoid and so the transmission had to be replaced. $3,264 it cost me. I have my car back now but found the engine cut out while going around a corner. So I put it in park and started it then into drive. It drove ok. I have found since I got it back that the aircon don't work properly and the heating and de mister is not working even tho it worked perfectly before they worked on my car. I have contacted them and they said they can look at the car but any work they do I will have to pay the labour and they have denied any interference with my heating or air con system that it is just a coincidence even tho they said they had to replace the air con with the new (reco) transmission. I'm not happy and cannot afford to get it checked or fork out more money. Not good: (
Very cheerful and helpful young lady in the office and the guy's did a great job on my car, will be back.
Took the ute to them hoping they could just change a front fog light bulb.they did it for me on the spot! Highly recommended
I couldn't speak higher of the team at Cambridge Automotive! The customer service from Tayla was amazing, she was very knowledgable and so easy to deal with. The mechanics we dealt with, Kyle and James were thorough, had amazing advice and both went the extra mile. I highly recommend Cambridge Automotive!
Tayla is a super woman sourced my car parts job costing $300 +less than winger hamilton where i brought my car from.tayla is a delight to deal with on the phone cheerful businesslike no stress even when hellish busy.thankyou
Kathryn. Been back for 2 more jobs and again 5* service big shout out for kyle and amber.thanks guys.
A+ service, saved me from buying a new car, consulted before making any changes and ensured of no unnecessary costs. Took vehicle for a WoF at no expense of time. Highly recommend CA.
Took my car to Cambridge Automotive for a WOF. They failed to inform me that they were not authorised to issue WOF's. They instead took my car up to VTNZ for a WOF check without advising me of this. If work is being outsourced then customers should be advised of this, very unprofessional.
Very satisfied customer. Efficient staff. Took time to answer questions. Did the job at a very reasonable price. Recommend
