Diagnosed with with injectors deadly bug and these guys don't want me to have any paint relief and as me to go into the supermarket to by antibiotics which health professionals say don't work on this particular bug good luck with these guys theu just unleashed the new pandemic

I cant stop thinking about my experience so I'm leaving this review. Dr Hamilton is NOT someone to go to if you are in mental distress. She will not listen, she may turn you away and tell you that you're fine even after you've made it clear that you need help. This has DEVASTATING consequences. It happened to both me and my sister on separate occasions when we needed help the most. It is unethical, unprofessional, and cruel. Absolutely horrendous.

Money makers, have lost their sympathy and understanding. Charged 3 times for sending medication to wrong pharmacy, don't think a 5 minute fax is worth nearly $50 and in the end had to ring the wrong pharmacy to forward the script on to the correct one because 4pm is 'after hours' for the medical centre. Phone call consults are also charged at full main fee, whereas other medical centres provided discounted services.

Despite website claiming to provide accident assistance my wife was turned away after badly cutting her arm. Not even looked at to check blood loss just told to drive to te awamutu.

I highly recommended going to another practice. Been with them for 18years and its only gotten worse on the doctor and nurse consults. We rarely need a doctor yet when we do, our one is busy weeks in advance and the other ones cannot listen to the whole picture and just try to get you out the door so next person can come in. Even with breathing difficulties/low blood oxygen levels/high temperatures for over a week and getting worse so healthline said needed an appointment within 6 hours at our gp yet was told over the phone it will be viral nothing we can do. Ok but thats why i called healthline first and it was with all there thorough questioning that they needed further investigation. Oh well.

Absolutely love and praise Dr Claire Hamilton for her outstanding manner both professionally and personally she is consistent with this through the 9 years she has been our family GP! Extremely supportive of those who have made Informed Based decisions to NOT Vaccinate their healthy babies/children and makes it known she expects any other doctor or nurse at the practice to treat our family with the same kindness and respect! Also Nurse Kate was the same if she is still there now I'm not sure but most of the reception staff have also been very helpful as it is a rare occasion for any of my kids to go there it seems to be at sudden short notice due to a physical injury they have always made sure we are seen promptly by a triage nurse which has been greatly appreciated by us over the 9 years!

Thank you Cambridge Medical Centre for always going out of your way and be able to offer me a same day appointment. Also thank you for being the only medical centre doing Covid Vaccinations in Cambridge.

Not impressed by call-back response from nurse when enquiring about another vaccination. Understand now that under Level 3 restrictions no other vaccinations can be given, at this Centre but to be told that it is our fault that we had plenty of time to get these vaccinations was not helpful. Blunt responses and interruptions without any empathy are certainly not good practice.

Very disappointed when I went to hand in my enrolment forms was expected to speak through a slit in the door because woman was reluctant to open door even though I was masked and diub jabbed

Wish I read the reviews first before coming here, same story, they just don't care. If it was for me then fine, but a sick child with a fever! Had me sit down in the waiting room just to tell me to go to Te Awamutu. Shameful. Won't see me again and I will definitely not recommend.

My family come here. I've been with Cambridge Medical center for over 40 years.
I grew up knowing most of the doctors & receptionists. They have always been kind to myself & my chldren.

We have always received amazing care at Cambridge Medical Centre and are so grateful we have such a warm and professional service available to us. As a family of five with three young children, the staff go out of their way to help us and we feel like we are in very safe and capable hands. Dr Hamilton in particular is an outstanding doctor; she is caring, knowledgable, experienced and the kids love her! We feel so lucky that we have a GP that we look forward to seeing due to both her professionalism and her lovely fun nature.

Very rude old lady receptionist and some drs don't care about you at all and try their best to rush you out the door.

We are not patients of this medical centre however I took my wife here yesterday after some post operative complications, we only have the utmost praise for your team from Eda on reception, whose concern was so genuine, the promptness in which nurse Kate called us through, we didn't even get to sit down & Dr Rick who is very compassionate and understanding. We both felt that we were looked after by an excellent compliment of staff, highly commendable, thank you

My baby (under a year) passed out after vomiting, we rushed in the medical centre with kid on our arm and they said, ice cold (!) We have to go to te Awamutu because they don't have an appointment free, even after arguing with them for 10 min! We were thinking about suing them, but have decided to change and tell everyone about it instead online and here now! Do not go there, they sent you away when you need them the most. Long waiting hours, unreliable doctors too. They just don't care. Never again

Maybe a good place if you ever manage to make an appointment.

Quite surprising to see so many negative reviews. I grew up in Cambridge and i have had many visits to the medical center in the past. DR Russel was awesome. He always had time for a conversation and hear your side etc. The receptionists were nice too.

I love the facilities and our family G. P.is amazing. She always makes the best effort for people she can. Hugs are medicine too. The strongest thing you can do for someone with any mental an spiritual sickness is help them to feel supported and loved.

Love going to see the friendly staff at the medical centre. Clare (GP) and Raewyn (Receptionist) are my two favourites xxx

Friendly helpful receptionists. Excellent doctors: caring, approachable - good knowledge and follow up. Facility is always clean, tidy and has a nice atmosphere. Has good waiting area for kids. Highly recommended.
