Countdown Pokeno reviews
39 This is my favourite Countdown.
Love using the 'Scan and Go' pilot.
Great range of products.
Got assulted by a customer for comments made to staff about the poor regard to customer service at this site. Wont be going back there soon. 20+ year resident.
Modern style building. Lots of parking. Easily accessible from the motorway.
Well stocked, friendly staff, great clearance deals.
Visit on Sunday morning after the pokeno market which is next door. Great way to do shopping!
Very dear in food conperd to countdown I. Auckland areas and pukekohe you guys near to be fear in prices of food not everyone has the money to pay top dollar will be consisting the people that are Dearing with high prices food to let them know this store I'm one too
Finish work at 9 go to do shopping but can't they decided to close early cause of rain basically lost a customer for life boycotting countdown
First time shopping at new Pokeno Countdown, drove there in search of the Yarrows Almond crossants, for my B&B, which have not been available in the Tauranga zone since before Christmas! Much to my delight, plenty in stock.the peaceful and calming ambiance lights dimmed, as you enter, at the main entrance the brilliant deli, bakery and fresh veg section was well set up and stocked.i truly hope the Tauranga/BOP stores sort themselves out as here is proof that an efficient well stocked and run store can be achieved.brilliant work
First visit to this newish Countdown, loved it. Lots of variety, no empty shelves and everything looked great. Will make the effort to go there again.
Very bad customer service. Doesn't deserve a star at all. Over priced and ridiculous. Some of the workers there are so dumb. Never have problems buying alcohol from other Countdown supermarkets, but come to this one they want to ask for ID (when I clearly don't look under 25), as I have read on the Countdown website that they ask for ID of those that look under 25. Dumb blonde biarch whatever her name is, needs a good whack to the face! NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN AND WASTING MY MONEY AT THIS FKD UP COUNTDOWN! IDGAF IF IT'S LOCAL AND HANDY. THEY'RE RUBBISH! GET WAY BETTER SERVICE AT COUNTDOWN PUKEKOHE NEAR BURGER KING!
Super clean and tidy, well stocked shelves when I went. Had everything I wanted. Got some mark downs that was unexpected which was a big help.
First time there was ok but having not been there before hard to find what I was looking for other than that good
Pity the smoked Kahawai fillets in vacuum pac wasn't in smaller size, so I could eat while traveling
Under staffed. No body at lotto stand on busy time had to go and find someone. Not organized shop.
Great shop and well stocked. Majority of the time staff are great and super friendly and helpful, but someday's they clearly struggle with customer service. But these moments are far and few between.
Very conveniently located, extended hours and excellent staff - many thanks! Can do with a bit better stock management with more product options for 5 stars.
Our new Countdown in Pokeno, is an easy drop in to pick up the small things that are required. Tonight cat food for our kitties. Easy & quick. Cost is getting up there still
Very conveniently located and excellent staff! Can do with a bit better stock management with more options.
Something has changed here in the last few months and I don't enjoy shopping here like I did before. It just feels off for some reason. The staff are lovely but the store seems less tidy and well presented. I understand why there's empty shelves, to a point but the last few times I've been in, it's like I've just come in after a grocery grab event (especially in the bread section) and no one's had a chance to reset. I also purchased an Organic milk two weeks ago and didn't check the expiry date which was remiss of me but I went to open it an hour later and it had expired days before. I hope you guys are coping ok - staff shortages may be the primary reason for these issues.
It's not having all products other countdowns have, expensive. Prices sometimes different then in the weekly mailer when asked told low prices are only valid when order online!? But friendly staff and good parking
Great staff and great service. It’s surprising how much stock they have and how many products they have for the size and how rural they are
