Terrible customer service, impossible to contact. The phone number doesn't connect and they don't reply to emails, I went in and filled in a cancellation form but the payments are still coming out and I have moved cities. Very frustrating.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Good size gym with a great range of equipment - everything you need. Area upstairs for functional fitness/training. Great gym!

Hardest gym to cancel from, even after going in to cancel the form wont get processed definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Literally the worst gym! The customer service is horrible! They stuff you around when trying to cancel & honestly just seems like they’re greedy for money! They’re slow at email responses! I have been paying for a membership for nearly one year & I’ve only ever been into the office & got the worst service it’s so disappointing going into such an intimidating place & having staff members that aren’t welcoming. & it’s even more disappointing reading that everyone has the same experiences with them.

Had a couple of trial sessions here and unfortunately this gym is not for me. While there's heaps of variety in equipment, it comes at a detriment to actually having space to move around. Equipment and building also feels a bit tired and run down

I initially joined because of the childcare and immediately loved the friendly, family vibe of the gym. I’ve been with FPF for 6 months now - it’s such an awesome place to work out and I feel really comfortable there. The gym staff are all super friendly and supportive. The crèche staff are sooooo kind - I feel like they genuinely enjoy being around the kids. Everyone seems happy there - I’m certainly happy there! Thanks FPF staff, I appreciate you all

This is the best gym in Hamilton, 100% recommended, everyone is so friendly and classes are excellent.

I joined this gym a few months ago as I wanted to get back into working out after having a baby, but I have no family in Hamilton and my friends all work during the day. So the child minding was a massive draw for me! It's so nice being able to get a 60 minute workout in knowing my baby is under the same roof being looked after by amazing staff. I have been a member of many gyms both in NZ and overseas and this is one of my favourites. Sometimes I see the carpark full and I worry I won't be able to use the machines I want to, but I've never had an issue. I love the different rooms, it feels like there are endless options for working out. There truly is a family feel at this gym and I'm really glad I'm now a member.

First place fitness is A VIBE the staff are cool as & earlier this year they through a party to celebrate. Diet flex is also a great company linked with FPP that i highly reccomend if you are wanting to get healthier & the tread mills are?

Love the gym! Friendly and helpful staff, classes are a great motivation. Looking forward to continuing on here! Thanks guys.

This gym is my happy place and always will be, if the staff and the gym weren’t so nice I would be rating 4 stars however as the bathrooms are quite disgusting and always have toilet paper over the floors and hair in the showers ect. It would also be nice to see some sanitary products in the female bathroom

The best mumma friendly gym in Hamilton, daycare option is amazing and classes are vibing. No need to be a fitness freak, just be yourself and get your health back, get yourself back. Been coming 4 weeks now and no looking back.

Highly recommend in my opinion, staff are extremely charismatic and full of positive energy not to mention very helpful.
The classes they have running, the personal trainers, and the theme make this personally my favourite gym P.s I wrote this review for a protein bar Haha but I am pretty happy with the gym:)

The details on the 'our story tab' is pretty spot on. As someone who only started walking around the lake a few months ago, I have felt really supported through my transition into the gym. I am enjoying the many great class options they offer. The trainers and Tony are all so friendly.

This gym is just so welcoming: the staff and other gym users are friendly and helpful. They have a HUGE range of classes and equipment. I’m looking forward to becoming a part of the family soon.
